Summary
She’s an innocent.
Caught in the wrong place at the wrong time.
My Angel is the one who got away—the only person in the world I love. When she is caught in an unsanctioned bank robbery in my territory, only my reputation protects her.
She should have stayed away.
Instead, she charges back into my life like a shining beacon in my otherwise bleak existence. She has no place in my world where hardened criminals toy with the lives of the innocent.
A better man would let her go—again.
There’s no white picket fence in life with a Bellandi, and she deserves so much more. I pushed her away once, but now that she’s back I won’t let anything else come between us.
Not even Ivory herself.
Bloodied Hands is a full-length standalone novel with dark content. The Bellandi Crime Syndicate Series includes several full-length standalones that can be listened to in any order, but would present a better listening experience following the suggested listening order.

Good story / bad female narrator
I think I would've rated this higher if I hadn't listened to the audio version, but the female narrator just completely threw me off. She was so monotoned and just had no emotion to her voice at all. One of the best things about audiobooks, especially first person POV is that it's more like someone talking to you and telling you story. This just felt like someone reading straight off the paper with hardly any inflection. I was so excited that this series was coming to audio, but I will definitely be physically reading the rest of the books. This wasn't a bad story at all. Pretty typical mafia romance. Adelaide Forrest's male MC's are always super over the top possessive and even controlling which I happen to like in mafia romances, so I loved Matteo. I didn't like Ivory as much. I found her to be a little annoying, but again, that could have more to do with the narrator than the actual character.

Sexy Mafia
Ivory hasn't ever really lost her soul mate first love of Matteo. Matteo tried to stop himself from loving her...but never could. Both narrators brought to life this sexy angsty tale with believable, nuanced portrayals. Five stars all around!

Great!
Adelaide has written a fiery love story with all the emotions. Ivory was a mess! She was a shell of a woman, to afraid to love, but she did love a mob boss. That boss was her love from high school. He broke up with her to protect her because he was a danger to her. Everyone was terrified of him. There were plenty of twists and turns going forward.
Patrick Zeller and Meghan Kelly were the perfect narrators for this story. Patrick’s voice was very sexy and spot on. Meghan nailed each character with her voice. She is a master narrator that makes the story come to life. Don’t miss listening to this one!

If you like Mafia and if you like romance…
If you like mafia stories and romance novels this ticks all the boxes.
It was well and paced and both narrators were spot on and brought it too life.

Female narrator :(
I have to agree with everyone. I was so excited for this book that I pre-ordered it. The female narrator, for me, falls flat. I’m struggling to finish and I LOVE this book (hence why I ordered the audio). I will stick to reading the ebook anytime I want to get my Ivory and Matteo fix.
I will not be ordering any of the others in this series as I believe she is the narrator in all of them. So sad.

Good story but wasn’t a fan of narrators
I did enjoy the story. However the narrators took away from it. To me it was to monotone and not enough emotion while reading. I would however continue the series. If they have the same narrators I’ll physically read them.

I normally don’t write reviews like this
I was so excited when I pre ordered this. It’s the first book of Adelaide’s I read and was so excited for it to come to audio because all her stories are amazing. But I think I’ll stick to reading it because the story is ruined by a female narrator who sounds like an emotionless robot with absolutely no inflection what so ever.

Great story HORRIBLE/TERRIBLE FEMALE VOICE
I absolutely love this story but the female voice made it a struggle to get through. I want to hear the other books but if she is the female voice I can’t do it. Her voice is like a board. This is an emotional story and her voice is flat as a board in EVERY situation!! Uh so so so upset I waited for this book and the female voice destroyed it!!!

Read the book
I don’t usually write reviews but I really like this book and the others in this series. I preorder this book and could wait to experience it in audio. Unfortunately the female narrator did an awful job. She sounded whiny and when she read the make part she made him sound like an idiot. The male narrator did a good job but I'm disappointed, especially since it seems the female narrator is going to be the same for the rest of the series.

Great Story Awful Narrator
This was a really good story it had me on the edge of my seat whisked away with love and anger the only thing that was tough to deal with was the woman narrator I had to push through because the story was just that good but that light wispy yet somehow equally robotic voice was almost unbearable.
