Summary

All I want for Christmas is Everett and Evie!

When I go out to chop down a Christmas tree, the last thing I expect to find is a woman caught in a snowstorm. But there she is, lost and alone. And f*cking gorgeous. I take her home with me - my cabin will warm her up... and so will I.

Meeting her was serendipity... and letting her go isn’t an option. But her life isn’t built around Mistletoe Mountain the way mine is. This mountain man is hoping for a Christmas miracle.

Darling listener, this story is like a candy cane. You’ll wanna keep licking this mountain man. The cover may be sweet, but Everett and Evie are sugar and spice, and naughty and nice! May your days be merry and bright. XO, Frankie

Sweet short sexy Christmas story

Loved the story. It was fun and hawt!!!

Logan does a fantastic job of narrating but I wasn't convinced... I thought his voice for Evie was good, but I wasn't quite convinced he was the voice for the burly woodsman, Everet, described in Mistletoe Mountain.

One of my favorite parts was the dog named Johny Walker!

The 3 S's - Sexy, sweet and succint.

Evie and Everett's story is very sweet, very sexy and short. In fact it is the perfect length for the Christmas season when you want the feel good satisfaction of a HEA contemporary romance without the commitment of time (because who has that much time during the holiday season!).

Talk about instant attraction! The two protagonists have attained a certain level of success in their lives but are still missing that something-something. Despite leading very different lives that should never have crossed, they have coincided serendipitously and that's that. However, attraction is one thing and the reality of their lives is something else.

This is two and a half hours of plenty of sex, Christmas decorations and traditions, and big decisions to make. The result is a story that is big on the feel good factor.

Logan McAllister's voice has that deep gravely quality that matches the Mountain Man character perfectly. His performance is a perfect match for the story, though I do think he makes a better Everett than Evie. 😉

Steamy Christmas Romance

The story was short and very steamy. Most of it centers around their time in the mountain house. Evie gets lost in the snow and has to spend some time at Everett’s home.

The narration was excellent and brought the story to life.

This is a great story for the holidays or anytime you want short sweet love at first sight steamy romance.

The conclusion was perfect with a sweet HEA.

Cute Christmas Story

This was a cute LOVE AT FIRST SIGHT Christmas story. They couldn't be more different but they fell in love on Mistletoe Mountain.

Narration was good. I could have used a little more difference between the female and male voices but other than that, i had no complaints :)

Overall i thought it was a fun quick read.

Cute Christmas Story!

Narrator Review:
The whole book was narrated by Logan McAllister and this is the first time I can say that I actually really liked how a male narrator did the female version of the book. He didn't try to do a high pitch voice for her parts. He did a fantastic job and I would listen to more books narrated by him.

Story Review:
Evie is out trekking through the woods trying to find the perfect branches to make homemade wreaths for her blog when she gets lost in a snow storm.

Everette is living naturally off the land in the Northstar Forest. For the most part, he's happy with his solitary life, but he's feeling a bit nostalgic during the holidays. He decides he needs to go out and cut down a Christmas tree when he happens upon a lost, beautiful woman.

You got two people who are very similar, but also very different. Both Everette and Evie are writers and work from home. While Everette keeps himself busy living off the land and writing about his experience, he is primarily a solitary man. Evie works from home on her blog, however she leads a more busy social life with her friends and family. As these two get to know each other during the storm, both are wondering how they can walk away when the storm blows over.

What a cute little Christmas story! It's a fast read or listen and a nice low angst story line. Since most of the story is told at the cabin during the storm, there is almost no outside distraction for these two as they get to know each other. Loved the epilogue!

Excellent Performance–The Story Could Use a Bit...

… Of Finesse To Make It a 5 Star Read/Listen, in my opinion.

Evie is searching through the woods for bits of brush to make Christmas wreaths that she has highlighted on her blog.

The Mountain Man, Everett, is living off the grid. His life of solitary existence is one of contentment. But as he is reminiscing about past holidays he decides to cut down the Christmas tree.

He comes across Evie who is nearly frozen after becoming lost. He brings her back to his cabin and once she has warmed up, so does the situation between the two!

Any further description or detail will take away from the reader's experience. While this is a 'feel good' romance, it is rather rough, descriptive and for those who do not mind adult themes along with their reading.

Logan McAllister's performance is exceptional. He hit Everett's personality exactly as I would have expected. His performance of Evie is believable and solid. It takes a great narrator with skill to perform both genders, McAllister has it.

Overall, I like the idea of this book. The 'romance' was a bit too descriptive and harsh for the taste of those who are easily offended. I am on the fence about that aspect.

Notes: strong language, mature themes

I want a mountain man

This book is part of a series but it can be read as a standalone.

Short, sweet and hot, this is a great book for when you want something you can finish in one sitting. The romance in this book is great, Evie and Everett seem like opposites and yet the chemistry between them is sparking. I really enjoyed listening to it and I'd listen to it again.

The character voices are well done and the delivery was excellent, really easy to listen to and a good match for the book.

I received a free copy of this book from the author and/or narrator and/or publisher and I voluntarily wrote this honest review.

Story ok, narration good, but confusing.

Confusing narration. The narrator was good. I know it’s common practice to use a normal voice for everything but speaking, but it would have been better if he had kept up the feminine voice throughout Evie’s chapters.
