Summary
I’m an untamed mountain man with a past that keeps me from opening up to anyone.
Then I meet Ava Grace, a woman so sweet it makes my tooth ache, and damn, even though she has crazy ideas about love - she makes me a believer.
Giving her my heart is fucking terrifying, and when she finds out the truth of who I really am...she may walk away forever.
She wears her heart on her sleeve, and when she falls, she falls hard.
But I need to be the man to catch her.
Dear listener, this sweet and sticky romance features a rugged mountain man and a glittering girl. In the vein of You’ve Got Mail, this filthy-sweet love story is going to make you believe in true love and HEA’s. xo, frankie

Deliciously sexy and romantic!
So, can I take Samson home with me? Because he is absolutely delicious! Yes he is the typical mountain man - rugged, reclusive and good with his hands - but he is so much more! He is vulnerable, sensitive and intelligent and meeting Ava Grace is what helps him explore these aspects of himself.
The two meet at their siblings' engagement party. The instant attraction leads them to a very hot and very satisfying one night stand but leaves both wanting more and unable to express it. Here is where hot sexiness meets You've Got Mail. No further details though... just that the story is quick, easy and fun to listen to. It is very romantic and very sweet balanced with just the right amount of hot, dirty sex.
So, back to my original question, can I take Samson home with me? 😉

Sexy Mountain Man? There's More to Him Than That
Sampson is our resident mountain man. He lives as a recluse in Canada but makes the occasional exception to socialize. His brother's engagement party falls into this category. At the party, he meets Ava, sister to the bride. Will they spend a passionate night together? Of course. But what happens after that is anyone's guess…
*I received a copy of this book in exchange for my unbiased review. I would recommend it to anyone who doesn't mind adult content or strong language.
I found that the plot was a bit over the top and disjointed, but overall I give the story 3.75 strong stars.
Logan McAllister gives a believable performance, especially for the male characters. If the author asked me for suggestions, it would be for a dual POV.

Mountain Man Hunk
The plot and story was pretty good although, banter through texting back and forth was a bit of Fifty Shades. It was hard to follow with a male narrator doing both female and male voices, not enough feeling/emotion put into this book, very monotone. It was almost like he was just reading his lines. If you can get past all that, the story in itself is a good romance story.
I enjoyed the story.

Mountain man - Sexy and Wealthy?
This was a good book, though not as good as some of Frankie Love's other books. Samson and Ava Grace were perfect for each other. Love the HEA ending. Logan McAllister was pretty good with male voices but, at times, I could not tell that it was a female who was speaking. Samson and Ava Grace
First, I love the character's names in this one. It is a slightly quick listen and I loved it. I love a quiet alpha mountain man. He was super sweet even when he thought he was emotionless. Ava Grace is like most women wanting the fairy tale. It was a great sweet listen. Logan does a great job. Not my favorite Mountain Man
I'm a huge fan of Frankie's Mountain Men and there hasn't been one that I didn't love until now. I'm not sure if it's the narrator or the characters. The heroine has been unlucky in love until she meets the hero at a family wedding. They have a one night stand but the hero freaks out and leaves the heroine behind. I don't want to spoil the rest but there is a HEA.
My issues lay with the character structure of the hero mainly but I can't put my finger on it. He was just a jumbled mess of attributes that made no sense. Also I had issues with the narrator. There are parts in the book where the POV changes to the heroine but the narrator doesn't change his tone for the head voice and I couldn't tell that the POV had changed. It was a little disconcerting.

Could use a female narrator
This was an okay read. The narrator wasn't the best, especially for the female parts. I did like the instant attraction and Samson and Ava made a good couple. Samson is a nice guy who's afraid of loving anyone in case they die like his parents did. Ava won't settle for less than being swept off her feet. The romance scenes were good and this was a quick read.

Short and Sweet
Nice book but the narrator could have done a better job with the female voice sometimes I couldn't tell if he was talking from Samson point of view or Eva's

I was thinking single narration??
For this to have been a dual POV, the single narrator throw me off my listening game until I got use to it. The narration clean, crisp and consistent. I enjoyed the story and the attempt to go deeper. It was short live, but this was a short story. Ava Grace and Samson appeared to be different but at the heart they were very much the same. They each chose to tackle life differently.
