Summary

"Sexy, sweet, and emotional. Strung packs a punch straight to my heart." (Ilsa Madden-Mills, Wall Street Journal best-selling author)

Micah Beck is tempting, talented, and addictive to the last drop. Not to mention, he's completely confident in all that he does. Especially with those fingers, and I can't deny that it's such a turn on.

Micah is the last thing I expect to find wandering around my brother's beach house, naked, only wearing an acoustic guitar, but he's the first thing that has ever had me craving for just one "anything goes" night.

My plan was to come visit my brother for the summer and hopefully find a little inspiration for my book at my brother's bar on the beach.

A little inspiration is more than what I get slapped with. Talk about wanting to make love to a voice. I never knew exactly what that meant until I heard Micah playing at Vortex, but now just the thought of anything that has to do with that man's tongue leaves my whole body vibrating with a hunger I'm not sure I can fight.

Just one taste. One night. No strings.

I'm a liar if I said I thought that would be possible, because if I thought his guitar playing abilities were hot, seeing him in charge, demanding orders at Vortex, has me completely coming undone and about ready to fall at his feet and give him anything he desires, despite the fact that my brother warned us to stay away from each other. He's a master at getting whatever he wants with little or no effort at all and I can't help but to hope he wants me.

Micah is cocky, with a body that screams trouble with every rock-hard muscle. He's wrong in every way and...I'm completely strung.

Forbidden brother’s best friend romance

This was a fairly quick and overall enjoyable story. Too much of the romance focused on physical attraction and I wasn’t blown away.
For ex the playing guitar naked in the living room was creepy not at all sexy, but that’s just me. Plus the whole man-whore main MCM just doesn’t grab me anymore.
I do enjoy a forbidden brother’s best friend romance, and this was an easy listen.
Good overall narration.

🎧 Tegan and Micah 🎧

Predictable, unoriginal brother's best friend NA drama, filled with repetitive language and zero character development. Not even Joe Arden and Maxine Mitchell could make this one memorable.

Not for me

I simply couldn't finish this audio book. I've given it an hour but neither the story nor the characters captured me. Thankfully it was included in the plus catalogue.
Give me Emma Chase, Vi Keeland, Kylie Scott or even Lauren Blakely when I'm in the mood for a bit of erotica but all this book did for me was turn me right off. I don't feel tempted to listen to any other books from this author.
It also wasn't helpful that I didn't enjoy listening to the female narrator's accent nor the way she reads male voices but none of this would hold me back if the story was good enough.

Heartbreakingly adorable

I really wasn't sure what to think of this one from the 'blurb' so I thought I would give it the benefit of the doubt and I am so glad I did. I absolutely loved this story, the narrators pack emotion into their words and the events, well they kept me hooked from the start.

I highly recommend this title and I will be looking for more from Victoria Ashley!

Annoyed with female actors breathing.

I can't listen to this woman. 😕 I don't want to hear her take every breath.

Hot, steamy, great characters, perfect narration!

Audio-book: Narrators – Joe Arden and Maxine Mitchell

Wow! These narrators nailed it! I couldn’t imagine any other voices for Tegan and Micah as well as the rest of the gang that comes with these characters. I absolutely loved the rough sexy edges and growly emphasis when Micah was speaking. Both Mr. Arden and Ms. Mitchell do a stupendous job of both male and female voices and together bring all the feels to this audio!

Tegan is off to spend the summer with her brother in hopes to write her next book while enjoying some time with him. She expected the sun and beach but she never expected Micah. Their first meeting was surprising and something I am not a fan of. However, once Micah sets his eyes on Tegan he’s gone for her. This is the tried and true “best friend’s little sister” trope but I’ve never read one where the brother was so totally adamant as well as out spoken about keeping the hero and heroine apart. I totally understood where he was coming from and was anxious to find out how these characters were going to find their HEA.

This is a fast read/listen with some awesome secondary characters. The steam was enough to melt my earbuds and I’m sure had anyone looked my way while I was listening they would’ve caught me blushing and drooling.

they typical best friends little sister. but that was ok. I love Joe arden would give 5 🌟 for his performance if solo. unfortunately mm brought it down a bit. the more I listen to her the more whiney and needy her voice becomes .

It was ok

I finished the book and it was good. I just got sick of the chauvinistic brother. It got old. Protecting the little sister, whatever.

Really enjoyed this story

Really enjoyed this story, and the realism of it.

Loved that it was different for a brothers best friend scenario. Micah sounds hot and self assured of his future until Tegan steps into his world. It was funny that the guys kept reading Tegan’s book over her shoulders. Oh and how’s she needs to rewrite the ending.

Loved the narration as always with these two. Never disappointed with Joe Arden and Maxine Mitchell.

Poor female voice Great story

The female voice sounds like she is on the verge of crying throughout, even in sexy or happy parts?

So immature

I love Joe Arden he could read the dictionary and I’d listen. Maxine is way to heavy of breather for me to enjoy. The story started ok but I gave up at chapter 15. The female lead’s inner dialogue is just way to whiney, wishy washy and immature. Maybe a 14 year old thinks that way but at 21 I expect a lot more maturity. She if you’re into whiney immature female leads this is the book for you. It’s sad I wanted to like it cause Joe was reading it.
