Summary

Eight years....

That's how long it's been since my brother's been gone, and not a day goes by that it doesn't kill me, knowing that I'll never see Adric again. It's been a rough journey, one I've barely survived, but with the help of my childhood friend Kade Haze, I'm finally learning to piece what remains back together.

Or so I thought....

Just when life is beginning to make sense again and a feeling of normalcy is on the horizon, my carefully constructed walls come crashing down, making it hard to breathe once again.

When walking into the tattoo shop one day, the last thing I'm expecting to see is Kellan Haze, Adric's best friend who no one has seen or heard from since the day they found my brother's body. He's nothing like I remember him as a child, with his wild messy hair, tattoos that cover most of his undeniably sexy body, and eyes so intense they make my legs quiver with one look.

The one thing even I can't deny is the instant rush I feel just by being in his presence.

But how can I choose between love and lust when one of these holds a dark secret, one that can crush my world to pieces and leave me gasping for air? Who can I trust when my mind is pulling me in two different directions and my heart has to choose for me?

The Haze brothers are sexy, daring, and possibly...dangerous.

This Regret is a story of love, lust, betrayal, and danger with an ending no one will see coming.

Absolutely brilliant

I do love a tortured soul. This storyline is written very well. Likeable characters with complex personalities. Great narration with lots of heartfelt emotion.

OMG this book is super hot with an amazing story

What made the experience of listening to This Regret the most enjoyable?

I just loved the story so much. It was a painful story but told in a beautiful way. I think you could feel all the emotions each character was going through. Wen Ross and Kai Kennicott and just WOW I can't praise them enough they make it almost like a film they really act the part so well. So a great story read/acted amazing you just can't go worng

What other book might you compare This Regret to, and why?

This book is nothing like anything i have listened to so far but I love the few Victoria Ashley books and this is another amazing story from her. I will definitely be listening to more of Victoria's books they are super hot with an amazing story.

What does Kai Kennicott and Wen Ross bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you had only read the book?

OMG Wen Ross and Kai Kennicott are just so amazing together I can not get enough of them and go out of my way to listen to them and doing so I have found some amazing books. Wen's voice is so deep and gives you butterflies just amazing and Kai's voice is just so unique she sounds like the girl next door I get mesmerized when she talks.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

when they talked about Adric I found very moving. Also when Kellan came back and saw his parents for the first time in 8 years and his mothers reaction made me tear up a little.

Any additional comments?

This book has so much story in it I just loved the flow and how the characters developed. It was 14 and a half hours but felt the time went so fast as I was so pulled into the story.
