Mostly good stuff
Engaging story, interesting characters and alrgely good storyline
I knocked off some points for the nausiatingly overblown attraction between Breena and Crash. That part is sickenly overdone and nausiatingly hackneyed, "Oh! Oh! He's so hot that my libido won't let me ignore it"... {GACK!} Really? That cliche was done to death twenty years ago and is still being trotted out by too many authors ro ruin otherwise entertaining books an dseries.

This is absolutely awesome it's got everything you need from fairies werewolves witches hunky demon's & so much more Fell in love ❤️ with the fantastic 😍 characters especially Crash he's a bad boy but WOW 🥺 you want him to be real 🤣 Plenty of stuff going on your not gonna want to stop listening it's that good 👍 trust me Own all the book's & can't wait for the next getting withdrawal symptoms 🤣 Definitely 4+ out of 5 from me Absolutely brilliant KAZ ❤️🤩😍

Loved it!
Some of Shannon Mayer’s series haven’t got the best reviews, but I thought I’d give this one a go - and I’m so glad I did. Both books so far have been great. Older protagonist with a bit of dimension, an underdog, and underestimated. Much more fun as a story than perfect people adored by all like most books out there. Enjoyable romantic angle with a couple of men without jumping all the way in or creating angsty drama - just enough love interest to satisfy that side.
In case it helps you judge whether to give this book a go, or if you’re after some inspiration, I also enjoy books by Ilona Andrews, Faith Hunter, Dannika Dark, Anne Bishop, Jeaniene Frost, Kresley Cole, Thea Harrison, Debra Dunbar, and some books by Hailey Edwards, Mary E Pearson, Melissa F Olson, Suzanne Wright, Danielle Jensen, H.D. Smith and C.N. Crawford/Alex Rivers.

Love this series.
Things are never straight forward for Breena and now the Faerie Queen needs her help.
Her Grans house is set to be auctioned she doesn’t have enough to buy it but she going to try and get it before others take what’s hers by right . Breena goes in guns blazing as usual and things get a little scary but she always shrugs and goes ahead anyway. Love this book and have just bought Midlife Demon Hunter which I will be listening to soon.

Recomend you read this as I love the main characte
loves it. It was never obvious what would happen next or who was good or bad. It kept me in suspense.

Lots of fun
I really did enjoy reading both the first and second book. The second book had improved in both the story line and world building, so I’m encouraged that the series will develop nicely. I love that the heroine is older, maybe not so much wiser, but definitely funnier. Well worth your time to read. Enjoy!

Great story.
