Just a great book to listen to

Sometimes you come across a book that just fills that space and takes you to you restful spot. Got to admit this one did it for me. Enjoyable story, narration that brings the story to life. What more do you want?
Narrators did a fantastic job of bringing the characters to life. I believed that they were real until I came down when the story ended.
Well done! 5*****

not bad stand alone book

Not to damn this one with faint praise but Sloss has better books. It's a bit rushed and the story and chars suffer for it. It's a decent choice for a stand alone single credit isekai gamelit book. The game is RTS/MOBA style rather than MMO or RPG. The world building chars and "game" suffer for it. The decisions and chars seem more video game like than light novel a bit YA with adult content. It pretty rare to find a stand alone gamelit book though so if someone is looking for a story that doesn't cost 10 credits to get through you could definitely do worse.

a fun adventure!

Great story and narration!

A professional gamer's character is corrupted just as he's about to go pro. just after tech support says he's sorry out of luck he is transported to a new world where he must fight for the rights of the masses in an epic strategic contest that will determine their survival for the next year...

Katana and Gabriel do a good job with the narration!

I enjoyed the story and look forward to more from this author!

Great RTS action with some anime tropes.

I never expected reading or listening to "litrts" (literature + real time strategy) type game in a book would be so much fun!
The MC is fun and the narrator's voice for him is well done. The same with the ladies though there is definitely an anime-feel to the ladies, their voices and their mannerisms.
the politics are actually pretty fun for the new world.

It seems like this might either be a stand alone or maybe each book will have a different champion. I would love to have sequels though and see our MC build an empire to change this messed up world and its Overlords...

Not a bad book, but not a good book.

This sort of book has become increasingly common in litRPG. The writing is pretty good, and the story checks most of the boxes, but there just isn't much else to say about it.

It's strength is probably the RTS/town-builder mechanics. The world building and magic system are just adequate. Action scenes are not particularly dramatic or interesting. The harem element is entirely superficial. while the explicit scenes are juvenile. That said, they are also independent of the plot. They could be easily skipped.

awesome

I liked the idea of a RTS litrpg book. when I first read the description I didn't think it was like that. what a pleasant surprise!
