About this listen

The complete series in a single offering!

Develop my team, dive the dungeons, and don’t ever stop.

I’ve always wanted to conquer the Big 5 dungeons ever since one of them took the life of my father nearly fifteen years ago. Nobody ever said the Path of Progression was easy, but my burning desire to dive can’t be quenched. I just never thought I’d be prohibited from getting a diving license just because I tried to help a bratty blonde girl get hers.

Soon, we’re joined by a lovely brunette bookworm, and we start diving the dungeon on our own terms. As it turns out, I have a few abilities that greatly increase our chances of actually finishing the Path, leading to a life of fame and luxury. Others soon notice the power I’m building though, and they’ll do anything to stop us.

I will conquer the Path of Progression with the help of my stunning companions.

That is unless the dungeon, or my secret enemy, kills me first.

This story contains action/adventure sequences, stat sheets for the main characters, and some slice-of-life elements.

There are so many battles where they just dont use the tools they have because the author just forgets about them half the time.
Jeremy's camp is attacked at one point and he doesn't use his skill that shares stats
He's got a spell that drains the life from two creatures and it's been shown only as an instant kill so far, but barely uses it
Has the ability to use summon alongside dragon keeper and only does it once, and in that instance it only summons two dragons where it should have been three because the spell had been upgraded again before that
Asks veda if her infiltrator can see the weaknesses of the trolls in serpent hollows, but it's seraphina who has the weakness detecting ability - strategist I think it was called
Doesn't ask veda to use her infiltrator ability until they nearly drown in an obvious trap room

It's just infuriating and makes them all appear dumb as rocks, all while we're being told mira is the smartest person ever
this is shown wonderfully when there are 7 coloured gems in the wall and the numbers 1 to 7. and it takes the "genius" Mira to figure out that they're the colours of the rainbow. and then for some stupid reason, assigns the number 1 to violet. which of course ends up being wrong. she's not a genius, she's failing primary school games

Decent story but author forgets abilities

If the authors used a proofreader/editor, they were robbed. The basic failure in written English got to me. Just one example that suck with me, you do not "notch and arrow to a bow string" you "nock an arrow to bow string."

I got partway through the second book and could take it no more.

I gave up.
