About this listen
For here or to go? It’s a question Nathaniel O’Toole asks every day while working in his uncle’s pie shop. But when Harrison Rutledge walks through the front door, Nathaniel can’t help but imagine a third option — forever.
Not that it’s possible, of course.
Even if a guy as attractive as Harrison wanted him, Nathaniel’s duty is with his uncle’s business. Ever since his older brother disappeared, he’s done his best to keep what little family he has left together.
He can’t let a man interfere.
At least, not until the impossible happens and Nathaniel’s brother comes home.
Nathaniel O’Toole is the sweetest thing in Pie Five bakery, and Harrison Rutledge can’t help but want a taste. When he leaves his number, he hopes Nathaniel will call to ask him out, but when he finally gets in touch, it’s for business — his brother needs help.
And so might Harrison if he can’t get Nathaniel out of his head.
Keep Me is the third and final novella in the Rutledge Brothers series. Please note: This book was previously released in May 2017 under the same title, but its contents, including elements of its plot, have significantly changed.

Awesome!
Piper Scott amazes me because created a lot of stories interconnected and this series started all of them. In this 3rd book in the Rutledge Brothers series we met Nate, his brother Dylan and Harrison. During the book we witnessed Nate and Harrison' s relationship grew in spite difficult situations that causes a lot of angst. As in the previous books, the topic of sex slavery is managed well and in a knowledgeable manner. The characters are really well constructed because you can see the havoc that sex abuse can cause not only in the person that suffered it, but also in the family and how affects their view of the world and the view of all the people surrounding them, and how love and patience helped with the healing process. This kind of topics tended in my opinion to be difficult to hear in audio, but Mr Adams made a wonderful job with his warm voice, and composed acting style, soothing the bad parts and enhancing the enjoyment for the good ones. Even if this book can be read as standalone, I strongly recomend if you read all 3 books in order specially if you are already a fan of Ms Scott's books because then you'll understand better many of the series than follow. Awesome reading and voice acting! Loved It.

Short but good
This could have easily been expanded into novel length, but in some ways I think this length works well for the book. This is a really yin/yang type of story. Parts about the new romance are light and soft while the parts about Dylan are quite dark. Amazingly, they don't clash but work well together both driving the plot and quickly deepening the characters. The performance by Dennis Adams was good for this story. He clearly delineated all the voices and kept the darker parts realistic and not melodramatic. There have been quite a few books lately where omegas are treated as chattel or at best second class citizens in some pretty bleak worlds. This is a lovely palate cleanser where the alpha is a wonderful, caring character whose profession is as a doula.

Great Listen
This is a great continuation of the series! We finally get to see Harrison’s HEA!! I absolutely love his and Nathaniel’s story! This is not a story that is all happiness and rainbows, but the serious topics are mixed in well with light-hearted, beautiful ones. Dennis Adams does a truly outstanding job bringing these men and their story to life. His voice is easy to listen to and this was a great listen!

Quick!
This story caught me by surprise. I couldn't believe how quickly the plot moved. Scott has enraptured me and Adams does a great narration of this story. The Rutledge Brothers series is truly one to enjoy over all, but this story is my favorite of the series.

Sweet, short story
This is a very sweet, short story. There is a little bit of drama and tension as Nate tries to help his older brother recover from trauma while crushing on a neighborhood doula. Dillon's story is almost more compelling than Nate's, and I was happy to see them together with Dillon's son at the end. If I have any complaint, it would be that Nate and Harry's romance went from 0 to 60 almost instantaneously right near the end, so I felt like I didn't see their crushes evolve into full-blown love.
The narration is smooth and easy, and Mr. Adams does a good job expressing Dillon's continuing phobias and fears
I received a free copy of this audiobook from Gay Romance Reviews and am voluntarily leaving this honest review..
Potential triggers: The MC's brother is recovering from being held captive by sex traffickers.

Short, sweet slow-burn
Nate and Harrison meet and sparks fly.
Nate has responsibilities and doesn't believe Harrison could truly be interested in him.
When Nate's missing brother shows up he needs Harrison's medical knowledge in the worst way.
As they struggle to help Nate's brother heal, romance slowly blossoms between them.
Although this was quicker paced than the previous books, it was still a complete story.
Denise Adams did a bang up job of bringing these characters to life.
