Summary

A Necromunda novel

With a Guilder armoury looted, and the culprit racing downhive in a mining hauler bristling with stolen weaponry, Kal Jerico chases the bounty...but with a prize like this, every other Venator worth the name will be after it too.

Listen to it because

Kal Jerico is back! Delve into the underhive with the most outrageous (and lucky) bounty hunter on Necromunda, as he fends off all the threats Hive Primus has to offer.

The story

Kal Jerico returns to Hive Primus, chasing his biggest bounty yet: the maniacal preacher Desolation Zoon, racing downhive in a mining hauler bristling with stolen Guilder weaponry...but with a prize like this at stake, every other Venator worth the name will be hunting down the Redemptionist. Can Kal claim Zoon’s head, or will he find a rival’s knife in his back?

really enjoyed this one

Necromunda really really lacks on background story, a few pages here and there and a smattering of novels, between this and terminal overkill they are sorting this out, very good book.

Really good, well worth the listen.

Really good story. Remember reading comics about jerico years ago. Performance was amazing with lots of different characters. Only one sounded a lot like another but they are ment to be from similar gang so makes sense.

This was better than expected. was getting a bit dragged down by the Horus heresy stuff so wanted something to break me out of the slump. and this did it well. great action good story, some amazing characters and a good laugh now and then too! a deffo to add to your collection if you like the 40k universe.

Grim dark, with a lighter flavour

Purchased this on a whim, a fantastic book with a lot of light hearted fun mixed seamlessly with a truly grim dark setting. I reminds me a lot of the old Gotrex and Felix books in tone. The narration is excellent, especially if you enjoy a few goofy accents, which I found added a lot of character to a few of the bounty hunters. if you want to get into necromunda, if your curious about life in a hive city, this is a great place to start!

Brilliant and so funny

Humour is not a word often used in the Warhammer universe and aside Ciaphas Cain I would say having a light is purging heretics but this book is so funny, my only reservation is the narration for female characters let it down other than absolutely brilliant t

Great!

This is just the second book in the Necromunda setting i have read and i liked it much better than the first one.
Many characters but great setting and story.
Really leaves you wanting more.
And i liked that is is more contained than the 40k universe, great setting!

Great writing and truly outstanding narration

The narrator captures the characters with alarming skill, couple this with the Hive humour and we have a winning combination. Fingers crossed for more audiobooks from this team.
