Summary

A heartwarming and feel-good read from the Sunday Times best-selling author

A getaway to remember. But is a holiday romance on the cards?

Best friends from work May, Lara and Clare are desperate for some time away. They have each had a rough time of it lately and need some serious R & R, so they set off to a luxurious spa for 10 glorious days. But when they arrive at their destination, it seems it is not the place they thought it was. In fact, they appear to have come to entirely the wrong village....

Despite the strange atmosphere, the three friends are determined to make the best of it and have a holiday to remember. But will this be the break they all need? Or will the odd little village with all its secrets bring them all to breaking point?

Amazing

A lovely and emotional story. Didn't want it to end. Definitely a must read for anyone. If only there was a place like it to disappear too.

Don't judge a book by its title!

This is probably the best story I have read for years , in the chicklit ( unfair description) type of book.
I wasn't sure at first because of the title and cover , but it's a wonderful wonderful story .
Full of laugh out loud moments, and lots of charm and romance , and even a bit of magic woven in.
Millie Johnsons best I think. And I know why she named it , and it's not what you think!
I would love to go to this imaginary village , maybe it's based on somewhere.
Lovely book.

Engaging from the start

I’m sad that I’ve only or a couple of Molly’s books left to read. I’ve loved all of them but this may be my favourite. Engaging and strong female lead characters.

Slow start.

This book was so slow in getting interesting that I almost sent it back. However when it started to improve I couldn’t put it down. I got so involved that I felt like I was on holiday myself.

OK if you like mythical stories

I kept thinking it would get better but it got more and more silly. I was irritated by Milly Johnson constantly using exsplicits thinking they were funny...they were not. Very disappointed.

Absolutely Brilliant.

I love Millie Johnson books. Each of the stories are totally different. They have brilliant characters & plots. This book was no exception. A very unusual plot but brilliant.
I'll be reading another by Millie Johnson because I know I won't be disappointed
I would definitely recommend it.
