cheesy and boring

way to much social justice and white knighting for me to give it more than 3 stars. the relationships between the males and females feels like it was done by Someone who had never been in a relationship before. they are unbelievable and very trope ridden.(like TV shows women are strong powerfull and always right and men are Incompetent imbeciles that would fail at everything when a woman is not around to hold their hand) he is the leader of the group yet he acts like he is a teenager who's never been in charge of anything before.

Not worth it

The narrator is not good, I thought by the end of book 1 he was getting better, but the editing is horrible. pauses where pauses don't belong and so on.

then you have the story. Daniel is the most unlikable MC I've read in awhile. He just can't accept that he is not on earth and he is trying to justify his actions on Earth's morals. he is also pretty annoying when it comes to his powers. He is a master of death and healing but can't even look at his own powers doing their job.

honestly these 2 books were a struggle to get through and I am returning them because I feel like I wasted hours of my life.

Spectacular, truly epic litrpg!

Book One was a monster that I devoured in a few days. I anxiously awaited to continue the story in book two. I wasn't disappointed. The worldbuilding continues to get better and the characters are becoming even more interesting and memorable. The narration is great. Each narrator did a wonderful job and added to my enjoyment quite a bit.

Another solid 3 star book.

Book 2 is once again good; but not great. It's interesting enough to keep me listening. The female narrator's put in more effort in trying to make different voices. But I still have a hard time telling which female character is speaking until it says their name. The world is still interesting. The characters are too. It's worth listening to. Still not much to make me think it has any replay value. Still think it should be part of the Plus Catalog. Don't buy it unless it's on a really good sale for $3 or $4.

There is no great antagonist. Which really brings down it's quality for me. A great villain makes or breaks a story imo. Still hoping the story will suddenly surprise me; and have a great moment that redeems how mid it's been so far.

Neithet the plot or the narrator gets better.

The worldbuilding is there, and the semi interesting magic system is still there....but most everything else is a write off.

Stats dont matter, MC always has enough power/resources to acomplish goals, and they started to try and justify a 'Smart MC' by having them teach a child about chess and equating it to wartime strategy...just feels cringy all over.

Excellent as usual

Excellent continuation of the story. Love having a book you can really get stuck in. Taking more than a day to read and keeping you engaged makes it even better! Yeah, almost 15 yours means I need to sleep before I can finish (except on the weekend when I have no bedtime (cheesy smile)). There is always room for improvement though. The speech is a little slow, so I have to listen at a slightly faster speed to keep from falling asleep. The tone of Landon's voice can be very monotone at times. Thankfully the story is great.

Its ok apart from this dude's weird personality

This story is pretty good even the magic system is great, author doesn't go over the stats and other b.s. too much just to take up time so good with that. This guy is supposed to be a man but this dude is like some 14 year old kid with his interactions with women😂😂 definitely has mommy issues with cringe phrases like," Go Mom" 😑😑 he is a feminist, mommy issues, never got no action from women type of guy( despite the story saying different) personality just doesn't fit with the cringy," i love yous, kissy this and that". If your into all that cool but imo it's really messes up the books and doesn't keep true what they started the character off as

Worth the listen

I got this and the first book for a road trip. The story is alright. A little predictable in how things will go but not horribly so. There are some stylistic writing choice that I had to get used to specifically the verbalization of sound effects like “boom” for one. A positive though is that for an Isekai there wasn’t a lot of sexuality which I appreciated. Even with my trip over I will probably get the next one in the series.

Good story, terrible quality.

Audio quality is terrible, cutting out randomly for over 30 seconds at a time in random intervals. Once or twice would have been acceptable, but it's happened at least six different times and I'm only 6 chapters deep at this point.
