Texan in a sci-fi hillarius. Nice story, not the deepest but easy to follow and enjoy. Has a nice pace, by keeping the story spanning over only a week or so.

Superb book. Superb narration (audible)

This book was such a great journey through all of our characters to the story plot itself. I loved the humour and sarcasm this story and narrator brought.

We follow our main character who’s been selected for a specialised role based on his history. He has a special gene which allows him to be selected for a particular role which his not entirely fussed about to begin with he just wants to shoot stuff.
His quite charming in the way his written he has empathy and is quite human in his mannerisms his not just some big shot who’s important and the world revolves around him it’s fairly obvious after a few chapters there’s alot of eyes on him and his somewhat of a experiment to the faculty.

I love how the book just kept this pace that increased from a walk to a jog to a relaxed run the book didn’t seem to have down time or low peaks everything played out very well within reason and didn’t rush anything or have time jumps it was linear but fun.

Massive thanks to our narrator Scott Aiello so many accents and mannerisms done so perfectly I hope his here to do every book in this series because you sold me on Kaidens journey and I want more

I was pleasantly surprised by this book, the characters were good and the “hero” wasn’t a super being that had all the answers, the A.I was brilliant, it’s nice to find a book like this that concentrates on action and story rather than raunchy scenes to fill the pages.
