Story
It was just a random mutation - one of a billion that happen in viruses every day. But this one was different. It exploded out of Somalia and spread across the oceans before anybody thought to look up from their cell phones to see what was going on. The infected breathed the virus into the air around them, spreading it through the cities faster than anyone thought possible. Hospitals were overwhelmed. Police lines crumbled. Quarantine sites disintegrated. Cities started to collapse.

Great short story.
This is a really good post apocalyptic story about a small community struggling to survive after some kind of spores wipe out much of the worlds population. They pull together and store much needed food for the winter in the Town Hall cellar, great! until someone steals it all. A Mexican family is suspected by one loud mouthed person and many of the members of the community are swayed by him into believing his lies. Irene and Hilda Jo however know different and they set out to find the real thief. A brilliant listen! *****
Carol Anne Shaw does a superb job of narrating the story and really brings everything to life.
I was kindly given a copy of the book by the narrator and leave this honest review.
