About this listen
My name is Dove Hendry.
Mine is Kingston Axton.
I was captured by darkness.
She has always been ours....
They groomed me for Midnight Mayhem. Like a trained possession, weak against their control.
She has been conditioned with our blood for years. She just doesn’t know it yet....
But Midnight Mayhem was the stained glass that concealed a very dark culture.
A culture that she is about to become the center of.
The Brothers of Kiznitch come in fours, and they’re not happy about me being hustled into their acts.
Or are we? Careful, Little Bird. A warning is a warning for a reason....
Mind-tricks.
Stunts.
Deceit.
Power.
But there’s something uglier that has been haunting me for years upon years. So ugly that I have never seen its face. I never had to. I’d hear his whispers through my internal screams, feel his shadow brush against my nightmares. He was my monster that tormented me.
And maybe lived under your bed....
When I started Midnight Mayhem, his presence faded.
His whispers were silenced.
His shadow dissolving without a trace.
I wondered why that was.
She didn’t have to wonder for long....

Twisted!
Amo Jones is quickly becoming a favorite author of mine. This had a unique storyline that kept me guessing from beginning to end. It was full of danger and revenge along with secrets and lies and then some carnival sex added to the mayhem. It was bizarre yet intriguing and addictive. It was really hard to tell who was good and who was bad because so many of the lines were blurred. I can't wait to listen to the next book in this series. Maeve York and Rip Devons both did an excellent job bringing this story to life.

Twisted Circus
This story was a ride. Whenever I thought I knew what was coming next, things would twist and change. I didn’t like that Dove really didn’t seem to question anything or react in any way I felt was relatable. She didn’t feel the emotions I felt she should have.
I love the circus setting and aesthetics of the book overall.
All in all, I wish there was more emotion but I am curious to see what happens next in the series.
Both narrators, I believe, are new to me. I really liked them both and thought they worked well for the characters and story.

In Peace Lies Havoc
This book is dark & edgy, it may be a trigger for some readers with the dark content but still has all the things a good dark romance book should have. I really enjoyed it!

My Thoughts on In Peace Lies Havoc
4.5 of 5 stars
This story was a major mind trip. I barely know how to put my thoughts into words. I thought I knew what was going on one moment, and then the next everything would change, and nothing was what I thought. But I thoroughly enjoyed it. It was the type of book you find hard to put down because you just don’t know what’s going to happen and you don’t want to stop incase the next twist is even crazier than the last. While there was a moment or two that were a bit on the uncomfortable side, I was very satisfied with the overall story. And I look forward to checking out more in the series. Both narrators were new to me, but I found myself enjoying both of their performances. I wouldn’t mind hearing more from either of them in future.

A Wild & Twisted Ride! Amazing Story & Narration🎧
Amo Jones blows my mind with another dark and twisted romantic suspense novel, the first in her new Midnight Mayhem series. The author takes you on a wild and crazy ride and her story not only grabbed my attention right from the start, but it got my adrenaline pumping, too. The layers and complexity of the story are phenomenal, as is the world building and character development. Dove Noctem Hendry was a young girl when her life was forever changed, orphaned and sent to foster care with limited memories of who she was and when she aged out of the system, she upped and left to start another life. There was always a haunting presence in her life, which she named the shadow. Once again, she is uprooted from the life she was living in Miami, captured, held against her will and then forced into a life not of her choosing. They bring her in to a whole new world, the Midnight Mayhem, mayhem at its best, jaw dropping and provocative live acts and performances that will wow the pants off of you. And then there are the ones who run this world and the brothers of Kiznitch, King, Killian, Kyrin, and Keaton, the lead acts and the future ring leaders, holy moly, talk about dark and twisted and King has it in for Dove. The chemistry between them is explosive and as much as he wants to not want her, he can not help himself. This drama filled, cleverly plotted, is full of twists and turns, mystery, thrilling suspense, heartfelt emotions and some hot romance. Amo Jones, thank you for another amazing story and the wild and emotional rollercoaster ride.
🎧📚🎧 And for the fabulous narration, Maeve York and Rip Devons are talented narrators and versatile voice artists. They did a great job bringing the characters and their story to life and portrayed them with a complete understanding of who they were, gave each a voice that fit the character’s persona to a tee, sounding believable and just like I pictured them to sound. They set the perfect tone for the story, captured all the characters’ emotions and projected them into their performance and had you feeling every single one. These entertaining storytellers were a pleasure to listen to and their narration enhanced an already amazing story to another level. Thank you for this great listen.

Havoc
I loved the dual narration of Maeve York and Rip Devons, both bring out the heat , characters and plot .
Oh that chemistry between Dove and King...explosive.
Dove, a normal girl , who once danced ballet is taken and held captive in cell, The midnight mayhem is not a circus or carnival. And as Dove is about to discover being forced to share a trailer with four hot men,
HOT

So Good
Dove Hendry has had her life taken from her when her parents were killed what she didn’t know was someone was orchestrating her every move . I’ve had this book a while and Sadi didn’t listen sooner but at least book 2 is out and 3 in a few days so I can go straight into them . I really enjoyed the story and the characters even moody Kingston but when you get the full story you’ll understand why he is that way with Dove , there’s a few twists and turns that keep you on your toes .

Blown Away!!!!
Amo Jones is one talented author who doesn't pull punches, weaving a fascinating, twisted, stunning tale with captivating characters. In Peace Lies Havoc simply blew me away. The character development is sophisticated, and the plot is elaborate, intense, exciting, deliciously dark and twisted, wrapped in passion and sensuality. I'm already so hooked on the Midnight Mayhem series, and I have no idea how I'll manage to wait until the second audiobook is released. It's going to be pure torture.
The narration is spot-on! Maeve York and Rip Devons performed outstandingly. They honed in the characters, capturing and emulating the nuances of personalities, complicated emotions, and intense connections. Overall, the In Peace Lies Havoc is a phenomenal start to the Midnight Mayhem series. The storyline is addictive, dark, and gritty with quality narration. A thoroughly satisfying listen, one I'll highly recommend.
