This is a fast paced thrilling book. I’m a fan of both Nikki Ash and K. Webster and knew this would be an awesome audiobook. It’s different from other mafia arranged marriage

Thalia is strong willed for being thrust into this arranged marriage. I thought she would crack but she’s staying put and she’s trying to find her place in this messed up world that she’s been thrust into.

Kostos is what everyone should envision in a heir to a very powerful mafia family.

This audiobook is done brilliantly by Sarah Puckett and Jeffery Holz. Sarah is a favourite of mine and she has an amazing way of reaching my soul with books like this. Jeffrey has the nuances to reflect his emotions from ruthlessness to feelings as close as one can get to live in this situation. He is definitely an alpha and controlling.

This book left me shocked and just clinging to know what was going to happen next. I’m so on pins and needles needing to know what happens with all of these characters. It’s a story full of twists and turns, surprises and deceit and secrets. Well named as Hidden Truths abound.

Hate to Love

Talia’s life is about to change completely. Sins of the father come back to haunt.
This enemies to lovers is so full of angst, it will keep you on the edge of your seat, waiting for what will happen next.

Good overall

With scenes that I hadn't expected, and a storyline that is a familiar one, Hidden Truths, nonetheless, succeeds in gaining attention and focus. Both narratators are very good indeed. Sarah Puckett and Jeffrey Holz are very good indeed. They bring both the story and the characters to life. I really felt for Talia! Her situation is dreadful. It took some time to warm to Costas, but, by the end I liked him more than at the start. Good set up for the second book of the duet! 💖💖💖💖

Wow

Wow.
I have no idea what I feel right now.
First off, I love the story. I don't even mind the 'trigger' it has for some. I'm a suspense lover after all.
What I don't like is the way Kosta alpha a-h0l3n3ss is. I understand the dark, mafia part of him makes him a monster but there were points I just felt like it was too much.
I really enjoyed this read including the cliffhanger but now I need book 2!

Truths

Loved the dual narration of Jeffrey Holz and Sarah Puckett

Talia start sweet and innocent . Slowly she start fighting and standing up for herself. Kostas is a mob boss he definitely treated Talia hot and then cold, she never knew what version of him she would be getting. The story does end on a cliffhanger so be prepared

Could barely put it down

As much as this wasn't exactly what I expected (and when one of the author's is K. Webster why am I surprised) I managed to finish this quicker than I thought I would. Could have done with a warning for one of those twists, but all said, I'm excited to see how Tallia find her steel spine. Kostas is just okay for me so far.

Dark and Angsty

This is so good, it’s dark and filled with angst and secrets. I was drawn in from the start. Talia is naive and innocent, the opposite of Kostos, but they compliment each other so well. I can’t wait to see where their story goes.

The dual narration is fantastic. Sarah Puckett and Jeffrey Holz perfectly embody the characters and bring their story to life.

Loved it!

Hidden Truths, the first instalment in the Truths and Lies Duet, is a fantastic collaboration between two gifted authors, Nikki Ash and K Webster. The story is brilliantly written, riveting, and totally stunning arranged marriage mafia romance, wrapped in intensity, suspense, and surprising twists and turns. The character development is phenomenal. Kostas Demetriou is dangerous, dark, and an heir to the family organized crime business. Talia Nikolaides is delicate and beautiful, promised by her father to Kostas as debt repayment. The contrast between Talia and Kostas is like day and night, light and dark. Despite their dissimilarities, the chemistry is electrifying and potent. I'm definitely looking forward to finding out what comes next for the unlikely couple.

Jeffrey Holz and Sarah Puckett did an incredible job with the narration. They captured and portrayed the nuances of Kostas and Talia's personalities, emotions, and connection flawlessly. They breathed life into the story and made it even more engaging. Hidden Truths is a very well written romance with quality narration, one I highly enjoyed and will recommend.

My Thoughts on Hidden Truths

This was one crazy dark mafia romance. So many things I didn’t expect and yet it was all written in a way that you didn’t want to look away for even a moment. You could clearly see Talia and Kostas feelings growing throughout the book, but there are still some pretty huge secrets between them. I kept waiting for things to get exposed and then getting wrapped up in whatever other drama was happening in the meantime. I knew this was a duet so I had an idea how it would end but even so I was still shocked by what really happened. Shocked, confused and now I’m ready and waiting to jump right into the next book to see how everything gets resolved.

The narration was fantastic. Sarah Puckett did absolute justice to Talia and Jeffrey Holz while a new to me voice was a pleasure to listen to as Kostas.

Wow! What a story! And that ending!!!

This story was a crazy ride! It was not for the faint of heart. Talia is a sweet girl who just wants to live her life, but unfortunately her father has made it so she can't. She is forced into an arranged marriage with Kostas. From there Talia's life is flipped upside down. Kostas is all power, while Talia is all soft. But Talia does not let Kostas have all the power. The chemistry between the two main characters is amazing even though they may not like each other at first. This story held suspense and twists and turns that will keep you listening well into the night. And that ending! I cannot wait to listen to the rest of this crazy duet! The narrators Jeffrey Holz and Sarah Puckett made this story and were the perfect Kostas and Talia! All power and sweetness, their voices matched their characters so well!
