Summary
A senior American security adviser is missing, presumed kidnapped for his top-level military intelligence. FBI Assistant Director Martha Meyerstein needs to track him down before classified information gets into the wrong hands. She needs Jon Reznick on board.
The former black-ops assassin is supposed to be on vacation with his daughter, but when Meyerstein calls, it doesn't pay to keep her waiting. Her elite team is convinced that the missing diplomat's expertise in the Persian Gulf points to an Iranian terrorist cell, but Reznick isn't so sure. His gut instinct tells him they're all wrong. Thriller
I do enjoy listening to Jeffrey Kafer. Dark and moody .
Another fast paced thriller, with enough plot twist, to keep you on your toes.

Better than the first
This is the second book in this series & very enjoyable with an original storyline. However, I'm put out by a couple of things: Why was there no overt admission of getting it wrong and admitting that Jon was right! And why did she foolishly allow him to use the bathroom? Every one could see that coming!!! That was disappointing.
But this is an enjoyable series - only 5 titles thus far.
