I loved this cute friends to lovers romance small town romance.


Dunn and Tucker's relationship had an easy comfort to it which I enjoyed. The chemistry build up between them was intense and palpable.

The tone of the story was lighthearted and angst free.

The narration was enjoyable and engaging.

Laugh out loud

Dunn and Tucks story was as funny as the first two. I started it this morning and didn’t stop it until I finished it. Highly recommended. Lucy and May are a great writing duo. You can tell that they must fed off each other’s story telling. Of course Michael Dean as always very enjoyable to listen to.

Lucy and may what a FANTASTIC combo

This is by far one of the most fun series ever !!!!! I live in the south so this is so great for me but i will listen to the whole series over and over !!!!!! BUT PLEASE KEEP THIS SERIES GOING

More laughs than ever!!! The perfect combo of copious humor, hot & passionate romance, and newcomers to the Thicket. Great fun, HIGHLY recommend this wonderful listen by the dream team!!

Michael Dean, as always, did an amazing job in breathing delicious life into the township of interesting personalities!! So delightful!

Laugh out loud adorableness

The third in the series (must listen to Fakers first and Liars second), this story was just as sweet (and sexy) as the first two. I have to admit that I laughed out loud on so many occasions that my husband thought I was going crazy. The adorable town of Licking Thicket and its crazy, quirky inhabitants have found their way into my heart. Many, many wonderful moments of sheer genius in the clever, witty writing. But equally wonderful in storytelling is the narrator Michael Dean. He really brought all three stories to life. Yep, the sexy connections between the lead characters in each story are incredibly hot, which on balance makes this series one of my favorites. I'm hoping there will be a fourth, with a love interest for Carter. Well worth the purchase or Audible credit!!!

So Sweet and Extremely Funny

I loved the way this book captured me from the first few words, so much so that I listed straight through to the end without stopping. The narrator did a wonderful job bringing all of the characters to life. If you are looking for extremely sweet, some heat, and tons of laughter this is the book.

Michael Dean is always great

It’s hard to find fault in an excellent audiobook, where the story is written by an excellent author. Michael brings yet another Wonderful Lucy story to life.

I love this series so much. I laugh so much and the narrator is perfection for this lovable country characters. I’ve listened at least five times since buying it.

Best, best friend to lover!!

Dunn and Tucker have been friends (best, best friends according to Dunn) since Tucker moved to Licking Thicket. I like how clueless Dunn is when it comes to his feelings for Tucker. This leads to some mishaps and hurt feelings, but Tucker has a lot of patience and is unable to stay mad at Dunn for long. This book is very sweet and funny with a few teary-eyed moments. These authors never fail to produce a wonderful book, and this is definitely no exception. This book is probably best enjoyed as part of the series so you can get to know the other Thicketeers. They are half the fun of these books after all.
