Absolutely loved it
I really enjoyed this book! This narrator is perfect, and did an amazing job of bringing the characters to life! Fantastic Irish accent and Scottish accent! Personally I much prefer her to the other narrator who reads some of Jessica Redland’s books. I think this lady’s voice and the way she speaks is much more suited to the books.
Great story, predictable in some parts, and not at all predictable in other parts. Hugely enjoyed it, and I can’t wait to start listening to the next Jessica Redland book I have in my Audible library.

Not exactly how I wanted it to end..but still good
I have been reading Jessica Redland's books since Christmas. I enjoy them overall but always have a few qualms. For this book, I pretty much enjoyed everything EXCEPT the ending. It honestly felt forced. Really, you could see it all coming from the beginning but when it happens, you (or I) feel like it was too easy. It almost felt like she got to the end and was like, "let's just wrap this up in a nice bow. No more carrying on." I don't mean that it was an ending that I wasn't happy with. I just feel like when it got there, it was wholly unrealistic. *shrug* Maybe it was just me.
Lucy Brownhill is a great narrator. I always enjoy her readings. She does a great job performing this story.
As the story progresses, there are plenty of things to grab and keep your attention. Its a very interesting story. I am just not too thrilled with the ending.

Beautiful Story, fun series
First, I really like that I can listen to this series on speaker without fear of rushing to put my headphones in if a kid or a prudish/sensitive person walks in the room, if you know what I mean 👀… It toes the line without crossing it. I really enjoyed this story. I love getting to hear more about Elise, and I feel like her struggle and perseverance can be helpful, especially to people who might be going through something similar. She is smart, independent, and kind, and she doesn’t (for the most part) act like a big, oblivious fool like many female leads in stories like these. I really like the narrator and the universe she created here in Whitsborough Bay! Onto Book 4!!
