Summary
In the aftermath of a heartbreaking accident, Kirsty is shocked to discover that she has inherited a vineyard in Western Australia from Ed James, a lonely old man she befriended at the library. But there is a condition to his legacy: Kirsty must give up her quiet life in England and live at the vineyard for a least one year.

genre change
found by accident I liked the sample opening premise and narrator.
story unfolds around human greed envy and jealousy, how this impacts those who want to live a normal honest life, and how it can change people.
I found it intriguing, there are many sub-plots too not just kirstys' story, her brother a social oddity, eds' great-nephew, sams' family, fully rounded believable characters.
narrated very well with the changes of accents.
very enjoyable and pleased to have found.

Lovely story.
Really liked this book, it was a nice quick read. It was lovely to see Kirsty grow throughout the book and find herself. I loved the elendale series by this author also and i will read more in the future.

Anna Jacobs never fails to deliver
Narration could have been better, distinction between male and female voices was weak, as were the accents.

Aussie drama !
I did enjoy this book despite being rather predictable, but most stories are !

Let down by narrator
I really like Lisa’s Armytage narration, however I always struggle when she performs young characters. Kirsty sounded like 50 year old women and a really dull one. Overall the storyline is ok. Something that does not affect you or leaves you emotionally drained. I guess it also makes it easily forgettable.

Well worth reading
A Very good storyline., the reader kept my interest. Hearing about living in Australia was interesting as was hearing of Rod’s disability communicating with people. A good read and I am passing the title to other friends. Thank you.
