Summary
In Australia, Simone has been widowed for four years and is ready to make a more interesting life.
Her friends are driving her mad introducing her to eligible men; her busy daughters are just the opposite, wanting her available for babysitting. When she is offered a house swap with a couple in the UK she takes it, not without some trepidation.

Great contemporary story.
I really enjoyed this as I do all this author’s works. I like the familiar settings and reappearance of places visited in previous novels. It was a perfect heart-warming tale.

Love Anna Jacobs
Always love Anna Jacob's books and this was a great go to when feeling down because it is a comfortable listen.
I like Karen Cass as a narrator but my one complaint is her male voice tends to be the same which can sometimes be confusing if there are a few male characters.

desparately dreadful.
this was just a dreadful book. i've enjoyed the historic novels by Anna Jacobs but this was truly awful. i fast forwarded a lot and then gave up. It was a complete waste of money. so sad to have to say that, but true.
