Everblaze
This story follows the children back to to school, after Sophie's mind is fixed the council decide she should fix the mind of the Elf she has just help brake. He sets Everblaze and destroyed the city. Not they are saying it is all Sophie's fault and some of the Elves are blaming her for what happened. The council start to go after the Black Swan and Sophie and her friend discover two of the Neverseen. After a fight with Black Swan and the Neverseen they decide to go into hiding. Read brilliantly again by Caitlin Kelly.

My husband (71) couldn't put it down!
Plenty of plot twists and unexpected turns kept his attention. He enjoyed the unusual casting of youth being the ones that were depended on.

first half slower
The council seemed rather incompetent in this book.
Also, Sophie spent so much time just "planning" with her friends in her room. She spent scenes separately telling Dex and Keethe and Fitz and Biana all her secrets and what she knew about the Black Swan and Neverseen. I wanted action or try-fail cycles. Still, it was interesting to read anyway. So, it was well done.
Then, everything changed when the fire nation attacked. I mean when the everblaze sparked in the second half of the book.
I do think the millennia-old elves should be wiser or nicer or have better plans than they do, though. For a society of ancients, they get flustered easily and don't anticipate the right troubles. None of the elves act as old as they are supposed to be.

#BestBookEver!
I absolutely love this book along with the series! The performance made me feel as if I was watching a movie! I could feel the exciting emotion coming from the characters and being able to paint my nails or organize my room while listening made it so much easier to read books! Honestly I absolutely recommend this book and especially this series to everyone who likes action, romance, and everything smashed into one! Also I would just like to point out that the person who read the book Everblaze and the whole Keeper Of The Lost City series is just amazing! They can act out all the characters and the Vacker families voice! Amazing! I loved this book and I hope everyone in the whole world reads it because it is #BestBookEver!
