Summary
Max and company pursue their epic quest to restore the Heart of the Mountain, finding new enemies and surprising allies along the way. The potential rewards are tremendous, but the cost is high. A growing threat from the mountains to the north endangers Stormhaven, its citizens, and its neighbors.

The story is good, it’s an easy listen not to much bs or anything i do wonder at the end when he got acnew blessing why he didn’t use it in either fight he was in ….

getting worse
ive enjoyed the all 3 books so far but this book the MCs personality seem to take a big dive and become way more emotional and erratic he's become worse in this book compared to the other too just going the wrong direction gope this isnt a continuing trend

Top tier series
I love ❤️ this series!
Has to be one of my favorite all-time favorite MCs.
The dwarves in this series are my favorite kind of dwarves and dwarves are one of my favorite fantasy species.
He, making his kingdom open to all, except dark dwarves, is a great storyline.
I hope this series keeps on going. It's way too good to stop it at 3 or 4 books. Maybe a 10-book series. 🤞🤞
Writing and narrating are all 5 stars.
If you like fantasy LitRPG you are going to love this series.

meh
seems a bit rushed, like the author was in a hurry to get something written. for me, it was too much going on too soon. one moment max is talking to someone in his throneroom and the next in some pitched battle with me wondering how that came about.

Story Continued Amazingly!
I was skeptical going into the 3rd book not knowing where the story would go, But it captured me from the start and kept me hooked all the way through. Waiting for book 4 to see when Max will meet the queen and legrass.

Great story
Had to just come out of left field with that one didn’t ya. Fantastic story, great story building. Truly hate that Loki brought officer poor me boohoo and they still live. Great build on evil character coming of age story. The queen totally nazi see that coming. Hmm tell me iam wrong lol. Keep up good writing. Narration exceptionally awesome. One thing to read good writing very hard to listen to terrible readers. Duo for narration excellent team, cresting voices to the characters that definitely hear who is talking without the he said she said after every line and I love it.

NEED THE 4TH BOOK ASAP!
My husband and I are completely addicted to this series! We absolutely love listening to this epic story while vacationing. We are looking forward to the next book!
