Educating me well.

Thanks Emily! It definitely made me rethink and evaluate how I approach food. It also helped that my cats are currently on their diet and I could see the negative effects firsthand. Unlike certain bad habits that you can give up all together, you still have to eat to survive. Therefore understanding your emotional associations to food is important. This listening piece is educating me well.

Helpful...!

Lots of men and women suffering from binge eating disorder struggle with emotions of disgust and guilt and often have a related co-morbidity, such as depression or anxiety.Must need to treat this issue and this audio is helpful,suggested.!

The style Emily writes with is witty, engaging, entertaining and makes total sense. She also makes it all sound very light and easy going. I recommend this book as one of the best with real strategies to find peace with food.

Quite an experience here.

This is not a dieting book. Pretty refreshing. In fact, the entire book was on how damaging the dieting thought process can be psychologically and physically. I kind of this book and was able to gain a lot of insight into a lot of my own food and body image issues.

Good pick

Doesn't address binge eating

This book brings out nothing new. I suffer from binge eating and this book did not address any behaviours to help. She said binge eating is an illness, but doesn't provide any help other than a diet.

Sticking to a healthier lifestyle.

Learn the do's and don'ts.

Quite a remarkable book here.

I ate mindfully, and realized I wasn't even hungry by the time I regularly had my lunch. Differentiating between my body's real hunger and not-hunger eating was phenomenal.
