Summary

Have you ever lost control over your eating habits?

Do you have two sets of clothes in your wardrobe, one for your current size and one for your desired size?

Do you make promises to yourself to be perfect and keep to your diet, only to undermine your attempts by eating one of your prohibited foods?

Are you sick of analyzing every bite?

You are not sick, inferior, or a loser if you respond yes to these questions; you are stuck.

This book, Detox Your Mind from Emotional Eating and Binge Eating, provides you with some information and the knowledge you'll need to make a difference, but it also provides you with answers for making long-term changes.

This book will show you how to lose weight permanently and sustainably without dieting! Finally, the author is releasing the effective strategies she has used to assist thousands of patients to restore their connection with food in her private practice and online programs.

If you are attempting to lose weight and battling emotional eating, you should know that you do not have to give up particular meals. You'll learn about the true psychological requirements that underpin your food cravings, how to address those needs in good ways, how to be mindful of your body, and how to discover the profound satisfaction that many overeaters seek in food in Detox Your Mind from Emotional Eating and Binge Eating.

It is not about the food. It's about how we use food to self-soothe, numb ourselves from the ache of living, or self-medicate when dealing with stress and unresolved feelings.

Identifying a problem is always the first step in treating it. This book will help you identify the issue. Few books provide interactive guidance to identify a problem and then begin to solve it. Detox Your Mind from Emotional Eating and Binge Eating combines the two in one package, eliminating the need to visit a therapist or psychologist. Everything you require is already inside you, and this book assists you in discovering it.

Eating can provide a lot of joy or a lot of pain. If you've picked up this book, you're probably seeking ways to change your eating habits. This inspiring book, based on more than 45 activities and exercises related to Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), provide a powerful road to change.

You'll learn how to:

  • Become aware of your emotional triggers.
  • Rise above self-judgment and other shackles.
  • Use mindfulness techniques that are specifically adapted to your needs.
  • Find new and healthier ways to cope with painful or unpleasant feelings.
  • Take small, manageable steps toward meaningful behavioural improvements.

Psychologist recommended

This book does a fantastic job of addressing emotional eating in a way that is both customized and generic enough for everyone to relate to, which is helpful for both clients and clinicians. Both my friends and clients have heard me promote it.

Self help aid.

It was purchased for a course I'm taking. It would be incredibly beneficial for any difficult-to-control activity, in my opinion, such as drug usage, smoking, persistent rudeness, etc. Even though I'm only halfway through the book, my sweets and other needless food binges have significantly decreased.

Love it.

After listening to this book, if you still indulge in emotional eating, it's probably just listening to it. It's straightforward: fear of deprivation is the only factor in junk food addiction. You quit consuming junk food if you don't feel deprived. Just observe your thoughts when you don't consume junk food and stop creating excuses. Find out how your body truly feels when you're hungry. You are capable of completing this.

Very good info

You must work really hard to complete this workbook. You must complete the exercises and regularly practice them in addition to reading the book. It's made more of a difference than any book or program I've tried in the past. Reviewing the book with a therapist or even with someone else who's also reading it really helps as well if that's an option for you.

This book really does work

My eating habits have altered as a result of this book. It's really absurd how reading anything may alter my daily behavior. I've just lost the urge for carbohydrates. I have to admit that I sometimes occasionally crave sweets, but it's not at all what it used to be.

Very surprised

I've read the entire article about losing weight. I'd suggest this book if you have an open mind and want to develop your brain in a different way.
