Big Step Down
I really liked the first 3. This book had a real lack of story progress. It also ends at a pretty unsatisfying point.

Getting boring.
No real plot progression to speak of, feels drawn out, found myself skipping chunks by the last 15 chapters.
performance was good though.

The story gets dragged a lot
The concept of the story is good but the writer seems to really drag everything a lot. Simple things which should be combined into one chapters seems to spread around just to make the story longer.

Good action, thin characters. Too much dau.
This series is very typical of LitRPG, lots of action and poor character development . There is little to the MC beyond the desire to get stronger, he’s one dimensional. He doesn’t really have any goals apart from getting stronger and he doesn’t really do anything apart from that. There are a few options for a love interest, but that isn’t explored. There is no conflict within him, no, nothing. Just get stronger. Arguably he gets he needs to protect people, but he doesn’t really have anyone beyond his extremely powerful sister. He doesn’t have any goal to protect humanity beyond the 100 year honeymoon period, just himself really. Getting stronger just for the sake of it. Even his sidekick is more interesting than him as at least he has vices, which are not pushed in the story either.
Lots of LitRPG have this same issue.
After 4 books I need to ask myself, do I really care about the MC in this series? am I invested in his goals, or goal rather? Not really.
Also they go on and on about “the dau” or Dow. It gets bogged down and I’m sick of hearing about it.
If all you want is mindless action and dau, then this is fine, but I think I’ll probably leave this series here and look elsewhere.

Over powered
A common problem with LITRPG is when the principal character becomes over powered. All of a sudden they can fly, massively fight and unexplained pull tricks out of the hat.
This series started well. Regretfully every problem and challenge are eventual successes by pulling yet another unexplained trick out of the hat.
