Summary

The crew of the pirate ship, the Lovesick Fool, are worried about their navigator, Sentorr. He's obsessed with working, spending all his time on the bridge. It's not work the big blue alien is truly obsessed with, though.

It's a female.

Sentorr's convinced that Zoey, a female navigator on another pirate ship, is his mate. She won't show him her face, though, or agree to meet him. She's happy to have steamy, late-night conversations with him over comm channels, though.

He's determined to find her and claim her, no matter what it takes. But when he does locate her and discovers that she's been lying to him about who - and what - she is, will he still love her?

Or is the fact that Zoey's human too much for this blue-skinned male?

Contains mature themes.

long distance alien vibes

I adore this one from Ruby Dixon! loved how the FMC was already acclimatized to the alien pirate life, and found her brothers adorable!

Fab read

Really enjoyed this one, lots of lure and even some laugh-out-loud bits too. Recommend spending a credit for this one. Love Hollie Jackson narration, makes a real effort ❤️

Great book

This is a great short story. Loved hearing the story of the grumpy loner at last. Good narration. Enjoy this world. I’m sad the first book in this series isn’t Included because nobody sane is going to pay for such a short book.

Dull

Have enjoyed the other books by this author and narrated by Lloyd/Jackson, but sadly this one was dull. I couldn't get the interest to finish once the silliness of the "dating" started. I realize this is fantasy sci-fi, but it just was too much. DISAPPOINTING

Good sci-fi erotica

Like the final book in the series. The story is slightly different as for the fmc background and how they meet. I like that Zoe is strong and knows what she wants, even if she is subconscious about being human out in space (apparently humans are as good as pets out there).
Spicy and not quite slow burn as things are pretty hot fairly early, but it only happens in person towards the end of the book.
The narration was also great.
