Summary

Love it!
Ruby Dixon writes clever and steamy plots, and her characters are always fun and interesting. This story is my new favourite, I really hope she will write more!

Fun and light
Easy listen, occasionally a little lengthy, but fun and it doesn't detract from the story. Good strong heroine. A little bit of instalove.

Fluffy fairytale meets Orcs
Very sweet and a nice book to have running in the background. Nice to have a happy ending and the characters though a tad one dimensional are funny. Don’t take it too seriously and it’s the perfect book for a long gaming session or while cleaning. I gasped a few times at things said and laughed every chapter. You get used to the male voice actor in time and having a female lead older than a teen is a massive find!

Love it
Ruby Dixon is a hit and miss for me, but this one was definitely a hit. Both MCs were society's outcast because of either their appearance and/or breed. So, I loved that they gave each other the love and attention they deserved. As with other RD books the monster is a huge (in all ways) marshmallow, and they have a lot of smex fun times.
Great narration too.

A light read
A fun short story. As it wasn't a serious read, the fact that the narrators couldn't agree on the Hero's accent was only a minor irritant.

Truly different
Brilliant listen narrators were outstanding Story was not at all what i expected far better than the short description that advertised it ! Characters were interesting storyline was very good

I was surprised by how sensual this book was, given the hero is an orc
Excellent narration by both narrators helped the story along. Rather a lot of steamy sex which somewhat intrudes on the narrative but I liked this much more than I thought I would but not sure this kind of fantasy is really my thing.
