Summary
Being in love with my straight friend isn’t easy....
I thought pining for Daniel was an epic tragedy, but then I found out I’m a conduit—someone who can communicate with beings from the otherworld—and my unrequited love for one of my best friends seems less of a problem.
So when a spirit is destroyed while trying to warn me of an approaching disaster, it makes sense for Daniel to step up and help me search for more information. Or it does until my mom turns up 20 years after abandoning me and Daniel turns into Mr. Protective. One thing leads to another, and somehow the whole town now thinks we’re dating.
As if all that isn’t enough to deal with, Daniel’s having a bisexual awakening, and he’s looking to me, his gay friend, to guide him through it. I’d do anything for him, but the thought of being with him and then watching him move on to another guy…I don’t know if my heart can take it.
But I have to toughen up and get on with it, because whatever’s happening in the otherworld is spilling over to here, and it’s going to take everyone we’ve got to keep humanity safe… if we can.

And then what....what?!!
*paces around wondering how Louisa could leave it like this* HEH!!
I'm one of those who has to read the book before listening to the audio but...Audible had this before Amazon and I was desperate for Daniel and Skye's book so I broke my rule. I'm so glad I did and I think if more books came out in audio first i'd totally go that route!!
Nick was fab again with the voices, I've loved his narration of this series.
Daniel and Skye were perfect, it's refreshing reading/listening to books where someone isn't angsting about their bisexuality and just going with the flow :) I loved their relationship, they were such good friends and they actually spoke about everything which meant there were no misunderstandings.
As for the for the background story...what...what....just give me the next book now!!

I hate mid scene cliffhangers
especially when I wasn't expecting a cliffhanger at all. I don't remember the other books in this series having cliffhangers. Honestly pretty peeveed. The next book isn't out either.

so good
First off as usual Nick J russo does an amazing job for the audio performance and will continue looking for his work.
This is one of those series that just gets better with each addition! Like a lot of us I fell for Daniel and Skye and their banter in previous books and hoped they would eventually end up together. And wow their chemistry does not disappoint. To top it off we get a continuation of what's going on with the demons and what's about to go down.
Skye is his usual ray of sunshine self even with his conduit powers being tested more and more. We get to see our lovely ghost shenanigans as well as rest of the staff. More questions arise as well as others answered. Cannot wait for the next book!
This does end on a cliffhanger but a light one.

Good
I'm really loving this series so far. I was excited for this book and it did not disappoint. I do kind of wish there was a little more slow burn between the two of them leading up to the relationship but that's really just a personal preference. I also didn't love the cliff hanger but again that's a personal preference. Mostly because I am really impatient and want the next book(s) to be out already. I will say that the cliff hanger is just a set up for the next book. The main issues in this book are fully resolved by the end.
I hope this series goes on for a long time. I love everything about it especially the ghosts.

Skye and Daniel
"𝑵𝒐𝒕𝒉𝒊𝒏𝒈'𝒔 𝒂 𝒎𝒊𝒔𝒕𝒂𝒌𝒆 𝒖𝒏𝒍𝒆𝒔𝒔 𝒚𝒐𝒖 𝒓𝒆𝒈𝒓𝒆𝒕 𝒊𝒕."
𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐝𝐮𝐢𝐭 𝐂𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐬, the third book in the Ghostly Guardians series by Louisa Masters is Skye and Daniel's story.
Skye has been in love with Daniel forever so when Daniel declares that he and Skye are boyfriends to save Skye from his mother and then tells Skye he is bisexual, add in the fact that a Demon wants to eliminate everyone, Skye isn't sure if he's been thrown into an alternate universe.
I was so excited to head back to Mannix Estate and spend time with the interesting group that lives and works there. Skye and Daniel are so adorable and sweet, I just couldn't get enough of them. The entire crew will put a giant smile on your face while giving you a good laugh at the same time.
The cliffhanger that we are left with, like WTF? I thought my phone died while listening to the audiobook, lol. I am itching to see where this series is headed.
Nick J. Russo did another phenomenal job of making a single narration seem like a duet and made you feel like you are part of the story.
Get ready for... mm, paranormal, best friends to lovers, opposites attract, first times, bi-awakening, close proximity, workplace, ghosts, demons, and dual first-person point of view.
𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐝𝐮𝐢𝐭 𝐂𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐬 has a heat level of 3 flames and gets 4 maple leafs!

Absolutely amazing!
This book is just as amazing as all the rest in this series! The MC’s give you spicy, sass and love! The angst is building more and more in every book leaving you begging the next book is already done! She always gives you a HEA with so much more to look forward to in the next book. The plots are so well thought out and you’ll never guess what is happening next ( even tho you think you do). I highly recommend this series !

Good addition to series
I have to say, even though I absolutely enjoyed this, it's definitely a filler book for this series. Or that's how I felt about it. Nothing much happened in it that we already didn't know was going to/already happening. Yes, Skye and Daniel finally got together. But since we knew that was coming since book 1, it felt very anticlimactic. Skye was able to use his ability more. To be expected. The group is no closer in finding the hidden gate or how to stop anything. And nothing really exciting happened. However, the story of nothing happening was still enjoyable. Listening to daily lives, Daniel has to deal with that woman. The ghost is giving the Farwell song. It was all well written and therefore well told.
The very end left us with a twist, but even that had a lead up throughout the story, if you pay attention.
Narration was marvelously done and kept me entertained throughout the entire story.

hilarious!
Another super fun read in an excellent series. The Mannix Estate workers and ghosts are still trying to find a fix to close the gateway they discovered in book 1 when they receive some very disturbing information. Daniel and Skye are absolutely adorable together and I love that no one in the town bats an eyelid at them dating and in fact they try to convince everyone they’re not and aren’t believed. So funny! This is not meant to be read as a standalone as the mystery spans across the series. This is a fun and fast bi-awakening, low angst read. It will be guaranteed to put a smile on your face and leave you desperate for the next book!
