Changed my view on a lot of things
I find it it annoying that every book written about William and Harry always appears to contain a large section about Charles and Diana’s marriage-We all know what happened!
It made me incredibly sad for Harry, it must be very hard to always get reminded that he is the spare and not the heir. Reading it made me realise that Megan didn’t orchestrate the Harry’s stepping away from being a full time role, she simply gave him the confidence to do so.
It’s obvious that Harry is still traumatised by his mother’s death,and never enjoyed being a royal,and Megan helped him to achieve a different path in his life and he appears to happy.
William knew his destiny from an early age, and grew up knowing his life was planned out for him. They are indeed on two separate paths

What was 'extra" from the original?
I was so excited to listen to this particular version as so much had been said about "the extra chapters" that had been added on from the original which would finally explain "what went wrong" between William and Harry.
However, from everything I'd already heard/seen I found it hard to work out what (if anything) had actually been added. In truth, I found that a big disappointment as there was nothing, that had not already been said, different.
A good read/listen, but nothing new really.

Nothing I didn't already know
Good listen and fairly short which was nice,but didn't tell me anything I didn't already know,why we had to be told that the queen was Elizabeth the 2and I dont know,but interesting.

There’s more to the relationships
Clearly the troubles are deep rooted in their upbringing .
Harry’s wife has simply encouraged him to find his voice.

Easy listen and slight comic edge in places
Having read many “royal interest” books this is one of my favourite. Yes a lot is already known due to press coverage etc over the years but it is cleverly linked together at length by the author which leads to the resulting situation of the current situation and location of the brothers.

Very biased
I think Robert Lacey is very biased in the book. He obviously doesn’t like the Royal Family, I’m not bothered about them either way and have never listened to a book about them before. He portrayed Harry and Megan as victims of the Royal Institution I really don’t agree. I think the couple are victims of their own ego’s.

Excellent!
Only facts, no fiction whatsoever and the author is not biased which I highly appreciate. Listening to it I realise how many incidents I've forgotten throughout the years, this book certainly refreshed my memory.
