Entertaining atmospheric whodunnit.
I guessed the killer about halfway through the novel but enjoyed the twists and turns along the way (which threw up many potential suspects). The narration was superb.

Modern Day Agatha Christie
It was no 'And Then There Was One' but It did keep me guessing until the end. I did enjoy it.

Good murder mystery
This book kept me guessing to the end I was positive he murderer was someone else. Very good book although I wasn’t keen on the narration.

Quite good
i love the author , this one isn’t there best ,but worth a listen ,it’s gets going half way through if a bit of a plod at first

Probably not as enjoyable on audiobook
I have read a few Shari Lapena books but this is the first Audiobook I have listened to. I’m not sure if I would have enjoyed this more if I had been reading myself. I did enjoy parts and i must say that it did feel like a real who dunnit. I did find the ending a bit disappointing. The characters were all good, some likeable from the start and others not so much. I will still read more by this author.

Mmmmm....... too contrived & implausible for me
I had high hopes for this but was sadly bored although I do want to know who the killer was it was very drawn out

Good little mystery
This was a little bit akin to And Then There Were None, though I can’t credit it with being in Christie “golden age of murder” league! But it was a good audio page turner, nicely ticking plot, well narrated and genuinely kept me listening to get to the denouement. Would make a good TV film.
