Summary

What happens in the wake of Failure Mode?

The Aftermath of a stunning victory—especially an unexpected, complete, and final victory—should be high-fives all around, listening to politicians give boring congratulatory speeches, and a well-deserved rest for the Merry Band of Pirates. Yes, the galaxy is still a freakin' mess, but that is nothing new, and for a change, that can be someone else's problem.

Until, you know, something really bad happens, and only the Pirates can deal with the problem... Or not.

He's back

Start's off like a crime thriller and quickly evolved into the sort of storyline we have come to expect.

Back to the twist and turns, loved it

After last book, I wasn’t quite sure if I was going to listen to this one, I’m so pleased I did. This is Skippy at his best, and now I find myself eagerly waiting the next book.

Fantastic!

Aftermath, is so enjoyable, I am so delighted that it’s out before Christmas and I can blame my overcooked party food on being engrossed in the story.

Thank you Craig and of course R C Bray.

So much better than the last book!

Real shame some of the old characters did not come back but what opportunities for spin offs.

Good story flow and generally very good pace BUT a little boring on occasion when nearly a whole chapter is a discussion between two characters.

Really loved the general story a fair amount if action, interesting twists in the plot and what a cliff hanger at the end!

One complaint is that we have to wait to see what happens...Really enjoying the series, so much fun and Mr Bray is superb.

They’re back… yippee!

So pleased the story continues. Aftermath is really a bridge between two storylines… it focuses on bringing us up to date with everyone a few years on and introduces a new adversary, leaving us ready for a whole new saga. Now I can’t wait to see what the Pirates do next… feel CA will need more than 3 books to wrap it up (I can hope, anyway).

Continuing Awesomeness

Excellent addition to the series, wish I had rationed it out more as there’s a year to wait for the next one.
