Summary

It’s a busy time within House Luanda. Women are finally choosing Warriors. A facility is being prepared for the first willing females from Earth.

The time is drawing near for Grim and Lisa’s daughter to be presented, and Grim is struggling with it. The thought of his Queen being at risk terrifies him.

Then Grim discovers another threat that affects not just his queen but every Tornian, Kaliszian, and person on Earth.

New life and old grudges are revealed during this fragile time, and only the Goddess knows what will happen.

A bit disappointed

The story was not as I had expected am a bit disappointed throught there would be more action as the first book Grim, I wished they had left the original narrator commomdore of the first book to had read the story his voice suited the image of Grim, Ian Gordon voice did not.

Liked the Story.

I enjoyed this episode but not the narrative nor the voice acting.
Narrator sounded 'off' which I am not use to from Ian Gordon. He's normally more expressive making you want to hear more...
There's no gel between these two thus you have a good story let down by boring acting.

Goid follow up

Enjoyed the story but still dislike that the voices are not the same for the characters as hims voice is now not raspy which for me detracted from the story.

Great Short

I really enjoyed this entire series. I was hoping there would be more. When I found this little gem I had to listen to the fact that it’s dual narration and sound effects was a welcome change and I loved it

Much better than the Kindle book!

This version of A Grim Baby has been fleshed out, with every character contributing to the continuation of the story. This is not a stand alone, of course, relying on all the characters we’ve come to care about, their interactions and personal journeys. It’s so much better than the kindle book that I read first!
As for the narration, I like the different voices, although it’s a little funky, it makes the listening experience more fun. I’m sad that Grim’s sexy, raspy voice is gone, replaced by a different man’s voice. I love how protective he is over his beloved queen and daughters and all the men he commands. Lisa has that same sense of responsibility to others, as well.
If you have enjoyed the other Tornian books, I know you’ll enjoy this one as much as I have.

Great Story

I really love this whole series, the narration is unlike any other narration. I love when a book has a female play a female role and a Male play a Male roll, and I like when it is done at the same time, not where they take turns and one plays both rolls when its their turn. We waited so long for this story, and it was well written as all M. K. Eidems stuff is. The only thing that in my opinion was bad, was I thought the story ended just a bit abruptly. I thought we would see the story plot through to the end, but perhaps that will be continued in the next book, which I cant wait for, it will be Gryf's story, can not wait for that book.
Thank you M.K. Eidem, you write great books. You can just see the whole story happening in your mind, just great.

It was okay.

I wish they had used the original narrator for Grim. Grim was better but I did appreciate the follow up with the other women. This wasn't bad...just could have been better.

I like this series

I really like this series soo many good characters (Aliens) but this depiction of strong earth woman at the end the girls are annoying. Because even Padma and Isis are such a good characters.
But still a really good read. Can wait for more books, would love a Paganous, Alger, Agee, and some of the warriors from Beetlejuice. Again many great male characters.

Stepford Women?

this edition of the series continues the saga. queen Lisa is just a little too precious for my tastes though...she is so perfect all the time and expects it from her daughters. it's a bit annoying 🙄. the girls voice are creepy to me when they chime yes mommy. I hope the next book is about Kalen and Rebecca!
