About this listen
Tooth. Vice President of the Coffin Nails Motorcycle Club. On a never-ending quest for vengeance. The last thing he needs is becoming a permanent babysitter for a male hooker.
Lucifer. Fallen. Lost. Alone.
After a childhood filled with neglect and abuse, followed by his mother’s suicide, Lucifer set out into the world alone. There was nothing for him out there other than taking it one day at a time. As the bastard son of the Coffin Nails club president, Lucifer never got much fatherly love. So when the Nails show up at the strip joint Lucifer works in, the last thing he expects is to be put in the custody of Tooth, the Nails Vice President famous for his gruesome interrogation techniques. The man proves to be the sexiest beast Lucifer has ever met. He’s also older, straight, and an itch Luci can’t ever scratch.
Tooth’s life came to a halt 12 years ago. His lover got brutally murdered, police never found the perpetrators, and all leads were dead ends. To find peace and his own justice, Tooth joined the Coffin Nails, but years on, he’s gotten nowhere with the case, yet still lives on with the burning fire for revenge.
Babysitting a deeply scarred teenager with a talent for disappearing is the last thing on his bucket list. He promised himself to never get attached to someone like him again. To make sure the openly gay boy is safe in the clubhouse, Tooth is stuck keeping an eye on him. The big, blue, attention seeking gaze is drawing Tooth in, but f***ing the president’s son is a complete no-go, even when both their feelings go beyond lust.
What Tooth doesn’t know is that Lucifer might hold the key to the closure Tooth so desperately needs.
Warning: Contains adult content: a gritty storyline, steamy scenes, explicit language, violence, and abuse.

impressive
This is a new to me author and I may have listened to this narrator once or twice. Overall it was a great story and narration. I personally felt that sometimes the story dragged a bit but it didn't deter me enough to put the book down. The narrator was good. I was able to get lost in the book with him so he will definately be someone I am willing to listen to in the future.

My favourite of the series, well narrated by Wyatt
Such a great story and addition to the Sex & Mayhem series. Tooth and Lucifer couldn't be more different but work together so well from the beginning of their 'relationship' and as they grow closer over time, it's clear to imagine the connection and attraction between them. There's a great plot to the story that really keeps your interest with a few surprises along the way. As expected with an MC, there is some partying, skirting the law and slight homophobia in the beginning and Lucifer's introduction to the club house and people that he doesn't want to be around is an interesting experience. K.A. Merikan has again done a fantastic job a world building with a wide array of personalities included and giving us a story that you can really get stuck into. I love the whole journey that we go on, the roller-coaster of emotions that we go on with Lucifer and Tooth. Their relationship caught my attention from the beginning and I was fully invested on their possible HEA.
Wyatt has again done a great job of narration, providing distinct voices for characters and fully getting across the happiness or horrors of each event and feeling that the MC's went through. I enjoy that we get the POV from both Lucifer and Tooth as it can provide a better understanding of where each man is coming from and why they act/talk/think the way they do.
My one teeny tiny problem was when I read the book and Lucifer was shortened to Luci, I read that as being pronounced Lucy. Wyatt says is as Lusa, the smallest difference but took me a while to get used to.
Definitely recommend and looking forward to book 3!

Tough love!
Lucifer is ten bastard son of the President of Coffin Nails MC. His dad will try to fix his life but Luce will fight it all the way. Tooth is his guardian, and he has a past that haunts him. He lost someone violently. Lucifer is young and horny, will Tooth be able to not succumb to his advances? As tough as the MC is, they accept Luce and that was cool. So much is going on with Luce and the Club, organ snatchers, jealous moms, great siblings and a goat. Entertaining and kid of heartbreaking at times, I enjoyed book 2 of the sex and mayhem series.
Nathan Baker nailed the narration, tough and soft and just right for the storyline.

An enjoyable slow-build romance
An entertaining and lengthy listen. There's a slow-build opposites attract romance between Tooth and Lucifer and includes a mix of well-portrayed secondary characters. The main plot is quite dark, but the story never comes across as gruesome. The ending was swiftly dealt with after a long build-up and I was slightly disappointed with the first part of the epilogue.
The narrator paces the story well with suitable emotions. Although his voice only changes a little for each character, it was still possible to recognise each one and follow the story.
Overall, an enjoyable audiobook. Recommended.

Great read!
I was a little put off by this series when I first read it a few years ago but then I got this book on audible and I’ve not been able to put it down. Baker really brings Merikan’s story alive with his narration and I can’t wait to continue the series.

Lucifer and the Tooth fairy?
Wyatt Baker does a good job of narrating the story and I found the characters to be quite interesting.
I'm a fan of K A Merikan, and I've slowly been getting into the MC books though they're not typically my go-to read of choice.
I enjoyed following the adventures of young Lucifer from the moment he's brutally discovered by Tooth, the Interrogator of the Coffin Nails MC, and it turns out that Lussa has his own connection to the MC in an unexpected way.
Tooth takes Lussa under his wing and their adventures turn out to be quite exciting and dangerous.
Worth taking the journey with Lucifer from scared, but feisty young man to when he comes into his own at the end of the book.

Lucky and Tooth
This is the second book in this series which was the first of my introduction to Kat and Agnes Merikan and what a journey that was. They write so differently and the books consume you complete from start to finish. In this second book we come to learn the family around the nails and the dynamics in the club. Tooth is the VP and been in the club ever since Priest, the president found him after his lover was snatched from him. He has been looking for his murderers for years but never catched a trace. Until Lucifer, Priests son from another woman, appears in their life. Lucifer has been drifting ever since his mother blew her brains up and now that he's found again by his father he hopes he can stay and come closer to his new found brother and sister. But some one from his old life is looking for him and so Priest orders Tooth to look after his son. After a while that becomes very necessary when Tooth finds out his former boyfriend murderer is the same one who is after Lucifer. Things get heated not alone in the bedroom but Tooth is not willing to loose another lover. He is determined to catch the organ snatchers and save Lucifer from their clutches. But as like everything that will come at a price. The story is thrilling and narrated very well. If you can't stand blood you probably should choose something more sweet, although you mostly agree that the person has earned his death. After reading the first two books I seriously got hooked.

Enjoyed...
Really enjoyed the story but it took me a few chapters to get used to the narrator. After that I thought he was great. The characters were really complex but likeable. I thought the story surrounding the two main characters was really interesting but it frustrates me a little when something really sinister is going on but the characters have to have sex. I ended up flicking through those scenes to get back to the story. This is the first book I've listened to from these authors but it definitely will not be the last.

Hot bikers
I really enjoyed this audiobook. The characters were interesting and the story was good. Wyatt Baker does these gruff biker voices perfectly!

Another wild ride with the Coffin Nails Motorcycle Club!
Bikie enforcer, Tooth, is given the task of babysitting Lucifer, brash, wayward son of the leader of the Coffin Nails. Both men have baggage and falling for each other is a bad idea. Authors K.A. Merikan write edgy romances - this one contains scenes involving kidnapping, torture, illegal organ trading, and multiple murders, to name but a few. I spend half my time thinking “eek!” and the other half dying to know what happens. I find the bikies a little more articulate and erudite than I’d expect, but they’re always interesting and somewhat sympathetic characters. Despite the fact I NEVER want to meet them, I do find myself barracking for them to find love and grind their enemies into dust! 🎧 Wyatt Baker is a competent narrator with a deeper voice that suits the bikie characters.
