Summary
Katie Singleton, a partner with the Elite Guardians Protection Agency, stumbles upon her next assignment quite by accident. Daniel might be concerned, but he's not convinced that a bodyguard - and a female one at that - is necessary. A new attack and his niece's urgings are enough to make him reconsider. He and Katie must figure out who's behind the intimidation and threats before a would-be killer strikes again.

Loving this Series
This is the 2nd book in this series and although I was sad that the character relationship from the first book didn't exactly continue in this book. However, I loved the new character development and the story. It unfolded pretty quickly and kept me engaged. I am looking forward to reading the last two books in this series.
If you liked this series you might also like Lisa Gardner and Mary Burton.

Another great book by Eason
Spoiler alert*** I liked the story line and the characters. The narrator kept me engaged. However, the story did not give enough background on Sara and Martin's relationship. How did he convince her to get involved in criminal activities? Is Olivia and Wade's relationship going well?
Overall, it was a great book. Can't wait for book 3!

Another winner for Lynette Eason!
I love all of Lynette Eason's books. She is the queen of suspense. This book continues the storyline of the Elite Guardians, a group of all-female body guards. She keeps you guessing with her twists and turns. I highly recommend this book and the series and look forward to the next book!

Scoff-worthy
One of the most poorly written novels I’ve ever finished. So many sloppy storyline threads. There seemed to be a glaring error about finding the coin , like the author forgot to go back and delete the first incident. Way too many attempted hits in a short time— like a Pink Panther movie. Narrator did a decent Irish accent but male voices were confusingly hushed or high pitched. I was irritated constantly by her phrasing. And was it a thriller with gratuitous religious content or an evangelical screed disguised as a crime novel?

Good story but has a religious slant
When I look for mystery and intrigue, I don’t plan on getting a book with religion thrown in. I would have been fine if this had been included in the description. I would then have made an informed decision as to whether I wanted to read a book like this. The story was a good one and the narrator made listening to the book enjoyable. Please be more through in your descriptions. This will not keep me from reading the other books in the series.
