Really enjoyed
Very engaging performances, kept me listening. Well thought out characters - however unlikeable they were! Overall gripping listen, and good book to get you out of a reading slump.

A modern twist on a classic whodunnit
Give it a go if you like crime novels but also enjoy things being mixed up a little. The interesting way the story is told from three perspectives does that. If you haven’t already also read/listen to ‘

A Clever Story - worth reading
It took me some time to understand each of the characters (beyond she was the wife he was the husband) and get comfortable with some of the narration, but the story is very clever and different to anything I’ve listen too for a while- definitely recommended

Well written characters & performed to perfection
Another unique story from the mind of Bella Mackie who is now an automatic buy for me. This isn’t as pacy as how to kill your family but the characters are well written and I liked the ending. Could’ve had a bit more action but still worth reading

Excellent listen
Loved this book, quirky, exciting, funny and imaginative. A modern day ‘who done it’ that had me loving then hating each of the different characters all the way through.

Absolutely fabulous!
I listen to audio books driving to and from my job as a teacher. I often continue once in the house. This story had me hooked and laughing out loud for most of the week and weekend! It has really cheered me up to be honest! The character voices were perfect and I think Bella Mackie must be extremely clever, insightful and witty to portray them with such realism ( I imagine) and humour! Can’t wait for the next one

OK but....
I was really looking forward to this next publication and whilst it was an interesting plot line, it didn't grasp me as much as How to kill your family. Not as twisty as her others but still worth the purchase. I did struggle a bit with the Gabrielle's unusual intonation and speech style but got used to it.
