EVER FEEL LIKE YOU'RE WINGING IT? JOIN THE HIVE
For best friends Renée and Flo, adulthood isn’t the party they expected.
Renée’s dreams of being a writer are going nowhere. Flo’s hiding a secret shame. They’re both failing in work and love.
Why did nobody warn them? Why does adulthood feel less like freedom, and more like a trap?
Careening from one disaster to the next, and learning to spread their… wings, Renée and Flo must uncover the secret to living their best lives.
But maybe we never stop growing up. And maybe they’ll survive the course – if only they stick together.
HONEYBEE is for anyone who's looking to belong. When life stings, we all need a wing woman.
Dawn O’Porter's book 'Cat Lady' was a Sunday Times bestseller w/c 24-10-2022.

Not as good as her other books
I liked it but didn’t love it like I did her other books. Didn’t have the same funny laugh out loud moments but maybe because it was about girls in their early twenties ? Not sure

Little bit different from her previous but I really enjoyed this! An easy listen! Narration was great, enjoyed Rene a little more than Flo!

From a Guernsey Girl
I absolutely loved this book and was so nice to have the story based on my home island, however I wish the pronunciation of local places were correct!

Brilliant depiction of female friendship
I loved hearing Renee and Flo come to life again as adults, Dawn O’Porter has such an understanding of what women go through and how important it is to have that one friend (or more ) who get you.. listen to or read it, highly recommended

Another fabulous book from Dawn
Perfect voices for the characters started off this awesome book. I find it really difficult to listen to audiobooks when the voices don't match the characters. I have loved every book of Dawn's from The Cows, and this is another one to add to your list. Funny, personable, heartwarming.

Disappointing and predictable
Least favourite book of the year for me, so far. Mediocre storyline and couldn’t wait for it to end. Only carried on in the hope it would turn in to something good

Lovely follow up on Paper Aeroplanes
Waiting for this book I’ve checked which book I have not yet read from Dawn and there was only one left Paper Aeroplanes…not knowing what Honey Bee is about
So you can imagine my pure joy when the story started
So to all who have not, read the Paper Aeroplanes first ! Both are such joyful and painful reminders of how we try to navigate through our lives as girls and women
