This was amazing. I lived through that era and was a ladette with a good job and earnings who didn't see them as feminist but just women making their way in the world. Now i am older and wiser and see just how much the Spice Girls changed things for normal woman. They are no Commodity Feminist example cause they actually did the hiring and firing and you know if they were around today they would be a DIY artist no way they'd let a label take a chunk.

Lauren has managed to condense exactly what it is to have grown up as a girl in the 90's into four hours. It's relatable, nostalgic, humourous, serious and clever. Who knew the spice girls were so bloody important to growing up? We all did. And then Lauren wrote it down.
