Summary
Maulkin and his Eternal allies may have just caused the apocalypse, but at least they’re doing it with style.
The Voidgod is back and the Alvaren Queen is now convinced that Maulkin is the second coming of the Voidgod himself, but at least they have the totally awesome magic sword made out of the weapon that put the big bad down for a long nap last time!
No wait, they don’t. The first thing Araphel did after stretching and yawning was to turn it to dust.
But it is all going to work out fine if Maulkin, the dumbest man in the known universe, can work out how to do what the gods themselves haven’t been able to since the dawn of time, and put Araphel down.
What could possibly go wrong?

A mess of bad writing.
The authors seem to have lost what made the first book special. They seem to like to focus on the battles, with the character constantly going from one battle to the next and storytelling has sort of taken a back seat as a result. This isn't really terrible in and of itself. The problem comes with drawing out each and every scene as much as possible, seemingly without ever getting to the point. It's tiring to listen to. Plain and simple. This in turn has made me lose interest in the humour. Something that was a key draw for me into this series.
I don't know what feedback they took from book two, but it's clearly the wrong kind.

The perfect God-slaying finale we've waited for.
Just absolutely perfect. My only complaint is that it has to end. I've always loved Luke's work, (both of them, Daniels is the perfect narrator for his books. I couldn't pick a better one.) Now finish Iron Prince 2! Or I'll mail a live catfish to you.

That’s a way to end a book
This is the most fun I have had listening to a book on audible the characters where hilarious and you got to have a boom where god molcken is the summoner for our next batch of “hero’s or villains

A very good ending for a good series.
Overall I have to say that this was an excellent listen to wrap up the series. There were a few places that got a tad rough with repete info and things like that but still, overall, very good.

feels missing essential pieces but great authors
really struggled to listen to all the big battles. the battles feel really unnecessarily drawn out. it lacks the litrpg elements of the first 2 books that really made it more appealing. the storyline feels rushed & unfinished. i really wanted to love this but theres just alot that doesnt feel complete with it. there were good parts of the story though & luke daniels does a great job, but it just feels rushed & unpolished

A great conclusion to a fun series
A good series that has gamelit elements but doesn’t have too many numbers/stats and no character sheets. It moves along fast and is entertaining throughout. It has a crude type of humor but isn’t vulgar.
Both Lukes did an awesome job writing/narrating
It’s also a complete series/trilogy, something that is surprisingly rare in the genre.

Great ending to a phenomenal series
I’ve been a fan of this series since the first book, and I have to say that the last book in the series did not disappoint. A very satisfying ending.
