Summary

Hi, I'm God. And I have a confession to make. I live with my two best friends and the girl of my dreams, Persephone. When the opportunity knocks, we are usually down the pub having a few drinks, or we'll hang out in Christchurch Park until it gets dark then go home to do college stuff. Even though I struggle a bit financially, life is good, carefree. Well, they were. Things have started going downhill recently, from the moment I started killing people.

Has Matthew Cash reinvented farce?

This book sucked me in from the get go. It has some surprising twists and turns, however as it unfolded I found it to be a bit ridiculous and unbelievable. But this may have been the authors intention and it intrigued me enough to want to know the outcome.
The narrator Mark Thomas was excellent. He moved the story along with an ease that drew me in and kept me with him until the end. His characterisation was subtle and worked brilliantly for the story. In truth, I may not have been as enthusiastic had I read the book. Mark Thomas made this for me.

Fantastic tale of love and revenge

What did you like most about Virgin and the Hunter?

Superb tale of love, relationships, and revenge. Wonderful chemistry between the main characters, and a bond that only good friends could possess. The dialogue is natural, and Goddard the hero is not without his vulnerabilities, but ultimately has the strength to punish.
Another excellent Matthew Cash story.
