Great dual narrating

Loved this book Wen Ross & Romana Master did a fantastic job. Lots of violence and is quite detailed in parts. Caterina is a real badass and out for vengeance who has a heart of gold Massimo was my favorite with a dangerous and sensual side to his nature. Glad l listened to the Mazzone collection first, helps to put a a name and face to people.

proper mafia romance

one of the best mafia romance books I've listened to in a long time, the performance from both narrator's was excellent and duel narration is perfect for this type of book. although this book is a stand alone, I'm glad I'd listened to the other books in the Mazone mafia series. there's quite a lot of information and characters to wrap your head around at the beginning of this book, it certainly helped me with setting the scene in my head knowing who the author was referring to and their back stories.
this book is mafia to its core, unlike others I've read from different authors and boy is vengeance the correct word to title the book. its harrowing in places when you find out more details of the true nature of what the female lead character went through as a child and young adult, I commend the author as she recommends emailing her for specific warnings at the start of the book.
it was great to have a woman in such a powerful position and exacting her own brand of revenge. thoroughly enjoyable, 5 stars.

Queen of Vengeance!

You have to be solely focused on achieving your goals to be Catarina. She is determined to seek revenge on all who have hurt her. Now that she has been basically forced to marry Massimo, her focus has shifted. Now she must prove to those around her that she is that strong willed female who will bow down to no man even with a strong one by her side.

Vengeance is a dish best served cold

This book had me feeling twenty million things at the same time. I was just so into every aspect of the characters their lives, their settings. This book had me up all night and resenting the need for sleep. This book will definitely be a relisten, because I know I missed some details in my first run through due to all those emotions. Wow. The narrators did an amazing job and really cemented the characters in my psyche.

Mafia romance 🔥❤️

I enjoyed this story, it's gruesome in parts and not for the faint-hearted. You need a strong stomach for this story. I loved Massimo, he was my favourite character. The story was probably 10 chapters too long for my liking. The story had depth and goes into a lot of detail.

Please check the trigger warnings before delving into this book.

The narrators were great and I enjoyed the dual narration.

Absolutely amazing!

This book started out with a bang, literally!

Catarina Conti is a boss, she is in charge and I loved that. Such a change of pace!

Massimo Greco is not at all what I first expected, but he was so much more! I loved him instantly.

I loved the connection and passion between these two, the push and pull was everything I wanted and more.

Ramona Master and Wen Ross absolutely nailed it. They were spectacular.

Catarina and Massimo!

Catarina is strong, resilient, and rather than let what she endured as a teenager destroy her, she will ensure that the guilty will suffer the consequences. No price is too much to pay, and that includes an arranged marriage with Massimo where she plans to use him for her own purposes despite the fierce attraction between them.

Massimo is a powerful man who is drawn to the woman who is about to become his wife. He is the complete package as he considers Catarina his equal and doesn’t try to control her but rather is by her side every step of the way willing to protect her if the need arises.

Catarina and Massimo take us on quite the emotion and suspenseful ride filled with hot chemistry and surprises you don’t see coming. The love that they share is unparalleled as they prove that as long as they have each other they can overcome anything. The performance of the narrators only made the suspense, chemistry and emotion that much stronger.

I loved every word!

No one does mafia romance quite like Siobhan Davis. This audiobook is tragic, dark and emotional but also a story of survival. I loved every word. The narrators were just great! Catarina is one of my favorite characters ever. She is a true mafia Queen. She pulled herself out of despair and agony, working her way to the top and she has the strength and intelligence to lead just as good, even better, than any man. She also has a heart even though she hides it under a cold exterior. Massimo was fun and their chemistry together was just sizzling. I can’t recommend this audiobook highly enough, the writing is excellent as always and I didn’t want the story to end!
