Hit the trail!

I have been a runner for 20 years but never done any real retail running; I was always too intimidated and worried about the unknown. The author does a great job in this audiobook of explaining everything you could possibly need to know and setting you up for success. t is a very well-thought-out and researched audiobook. I particularly liked the sections that dealt with weather and how to prepare for it and the practical parts like hydration packs and safety gear. I highly recommend taking a listen.

WOW, love it!

I've looked into ultra-running before and all the books liked archaic so im happy to have found something current. Great listen and I feel soooo prepared to hit the trails this spring. First up, some endurance training.

A most comprehensive guide

This was a great listen and a wonderful tool for a person like myself who could never get into running. I tried several times over the past two decades to get into running and wish I'd had come across this book back when I was struggling! It offers all the tips, tricks, and knowledge for beginners. Definitely worth a listen if you're looking for some invaluable information and a motivational boost.

Awesome intro to ultrarunning!

"Unleash Your Inner Ultrarunner" by Sarah Russell is an excellent resource for anyone interested in trail running, especially beginners. The audiobook was filled with practical tips and advice that seemed incredibly useful for tackling outdoor adventures. I felt like the author did a great job of covering all the necessary topics, from gear to safety to motivation (a sticking point for many!). Just understand that the book is not about short jogs or road races - ultrarunning is a different sport with its own ins and outs.

The narration of the audiobook added a lot of value as well. The narrator's enthusiastic and clear American voice made the content more engaging and enjoyable to listen to. It felt like a friend was trying her best to convince me that ultrarunning is the best sport/hobby out there!

Excellent book from a real runner!

As someone who loves running but has hesitated to take the leap into ultramarathons, "Trail Running Unleashed" was a game-changer for me. The thought of tackling ultramarathons felt daunting, almost impossible.
