I can understand the angst and hopelessness Denver faced knowing his wolf was just shy of feral. I can also understand the Maizy's wish to reconnect with her childhood friend, but neither are children now and there is a new electricity in the air.
I so love this series and will hate to see it come to an end. I will just have to follow Dannika to her next series and listen to what Nicole has in store.

Denver doesn't even recognize Maizy on her return, she's grown into a stunningly beautiful grown woman, she isn't a kid anymore!😳 Hes not sure how he's supposed to reconcile how he feels about her now, knowing that he'll lose her to her human aging sooner rather than later, regardless of what happens feels!💔
This is a tumultuous story which lets us get to know these characters on a much deeper level than ever before. Denver has secrets but so does Maizy!😳💥 I adored these two from book one & always hoped they'd get an HEA.💘🌟

Maizy grows up as a human in a house full of wolves, but she’s not afraid because she has her watchdog, Denver. When Maizy leaves for college Denver thinks his close connection with her is lost forever and severs all ties to her. She spends years feeling lost and alone only to return home and get the same silent treatment. This is a deeply romantic book and it reveals the more basic instincts of the shifters and their world. It explores the flaws and outdated rules that they live by. Maizy challenges the world she lives in and creates an emotional attachment between the reader and the character, while Denver is just simply adorable.Simply adorable
