Summary
When it comes to mistakes, social worker Madison Hewitt doesn’t do anything halfway. Her last relationship managed to break her heart and her professional prospects. Coming home to Providence is her chance to regroup, even if she’s always waiting for the other shoe to drop, in life and in love.

Loved this tender, slow burn wlw romance
The author does a brilliant job with this sweet love story. Leigh Hays has created believably complex characters that I found easy to empathise with. She describes the MCs quirks, insecurities and strengths with skill and feeling and she builds their story beautifully. Leigh Hays has created a romance that is a cut above the average and I will definitely be buying more of her books.
Lula Larkin gives an impressive performance narrating this audiobook. The voices she gives the MCs are perfect and her delivery brings out the depth, especially the tenderness, in the story. She made me feel that she care about the characters and their story, which I found exceptional. I listen to a lot of romance books but this is the first time I have heard this above average voice artist and I hope to hear much more of her in future.

I liked the story line, it was interesting and engaging. The MC were well developed, I was not enthused about the narration, it was good but not great.

Good Listen
I liked the book from the beginning, but somewhere in the last half... I started to get tired of the issue the characters kept circling around... still, it was a good audiobook. The narrator was good. but she wasn't Abby Craden or Lori Prince... but good. Overall, I'd rate this purchase about a 4.25 out of 5.

Loved loved loved this book!! Highly recommend this book!! Loved the story and all it’s characters
