Summary
Lucie Redway knows one thing for certain: her best friend will have the most perfect destination wedding. She may not know if she’ll still have her agony aunt column next month, or if her love life will ever be more exciting than a midnight swipe right, but Lucie would rather exhaust herself than let Stacey down on her Big Day. Not even Charlie, the insufferably attractive and hateful best man, can get in her way.
Before the flight touches down in Spain, Lucie is hit with a curveball. Sat next to world-famous psychic Miranda Bloom, she’s told she’ll leave the wedding with the love of her life. Lucie’s not sure she believes in fate, but Miranda seems to know every little detail about her. Is The One really somewhere on the seating chart?
If Miranda is right then that narrows down Lucie’s options (ruling out new bachelor Grandad Bob for obvious reasons) to Drew and Ethan. Drew: the one that got away, the bad boy turned international fashion photographer. Ethan: the dependable childhood best friend, now a Saville Row tailor, who says he has something important to tell her… But there’s no way it’s her worst enemy Charlie, of course. Even if their friction is turning into a confusing kind of chemistry.
As Lucie deals with drunken aunties, finds a missing wedding dress and survives the chaotic hen party, the days are counting down to ‘I do’. Will she recognise The One before time runs out?
About the author
Before becoming a full-time author, she worked in advertising for some of the UK’s most iconic radio brands. She lives on the south coast of England with her husband and two small children. When she’s not juggling motherhood and a writing career, she’ll probably be watching cooking shows, obsessing over Taylor Swift, or reading romance novels like her life depends on it. The Rebound is Leeanne's first novel and released exclusively on Audible in March 2023.

Amazing author
You think your nailed the story and then realise you have 5 hours listening left … I’ve done two of this authors books and devastated their aren’t any more on audiable as I would do every single one ! Loved them !! Thank you

If they don’t make this movie I’ll RIOT!
I was having a conversation recently about how they don’t make romcoms like they used to. Like the 90s/early 2000s gold standard romcoms. Well, well, well…
I swear, if they don’t make a movie of this masterpiece I’ll riot.
When I tell you it has EVERYTHING, everything you could ever want from a romcom.
I don’t want to give spoilers but the MMC is tier 1, ahem, “Not until I say so” 😳
Genuinely laugh out loud moments, couldnt-hold-it-in-on-the-commute kind of laughter. I cried a good few times too; the two MCs are going through separate grief journeys (parental, TW for that!).
I really love how Leeanne’s books (I listened to her first one too), have such deeply woven plots. The threads always weave together so nicely at the end. You are left with SUCH a satisfied feeling. Almost like watching a really great romcom 😏
I had a great time with this one and so did everyone on the train who had to listen to me gasp and swear at the motel scene…

She’s done it again!
As soon as I finished The Rebound I got straight to looking for another Leeanne Slade title and luckily this one had just been released, and it did not disappoint. Absolutely hooked on every character and storyline from beginning to end! And beautifully narrated.

I love love loved this! I laughed, I cried. I honestly can't wait for Leeanne Slades' next book after this!

Couldn't stop listening!
Why why why did I listen to this.so.quiclly?! I will now have to wait so long for another one. I adored the last book, now I love this even more. I laughed, I cried - all the emotions! One audible book I would listen to again

a great and easy listen
I have loved leeanne Slades previous work, I just find her writing smooth and really easy to listen to. this was no different, I was really rooting for the couple at the end that I spent an extra couple of hours listening lol. Great performance from bel Powley, she really brings the characters to life.

Another book devoured in less than 24hrs
I have been waiting for this since I finished Leeanne’s debut novel In April , and yet again I’m mourning the end. I spent the whole day engrossed in this, torn between finishing it and keeping it for longer so I didn’t have to feel empty when I’d finished it.
Again all the characters are so easily to fall in love with , I didn’t think I could love characters more than kitty and Leo, but Lucy and her friends captured my heart.
The ending was perfect and unlike so many books I can sleep easy knowing all is well in the world of Lucy 🥰
So when’s books 4 coking 🤪

Amazing Story!
I was a huge fan of Leeanne Slade’s other audiobook and knew I had to check this one out. This audiobook was just as good, if not better, than The Rebound. I throughly enjoyed the characters and thought they were well developed. If you are into romantic comedies then you should definitely check this one out!

What if you knew your future?

Story filled with loss, laughter and love. Couldn’t stop listening! Great story & great narration! Favorite Audible yet.
After listening to Leeanne Slade’s last Audible book, The Rebound, I instantly knew Told You So would be another favorite. The moment it was available for preorder I purchased. This is a listen in 2.0 speed to get through & know what happens next but then regret when you’re finished sort of read!
A story filled with loss, laugh and Iove. Highly recommend! Even for those who aren’t typically fans of Audible selections, give this one a chance, best one yet!
