star wars from a new point of view
It is nice to see a new point of view in the star wars universe. one not dominated by force users. the Impierial navy, military and local politics is a nice backdrop for multiple characters to shine and develop.

Star Wars at it's best
A fantastic audio book for any Star Wars fan. The book by Timothy Zahn is some of the best Star Wars has to offer, and Marc Thompson gave a Performance narrating.

Gripping from start to finish.
An unusual account from the perspective of the Empire and its inner workings. Thrawn plays out through the period between episode 3 and 4. The Empire is solidifying it's grasp on the galaxy. Greed and corruption are everywhere and cut throat politics are the order of the day. Many twists and turns in this book which are well performed by Marc Thompson.

enTHRAWNling
an excellent listen, not just for SW fans. Thrawns character is one of the best in fiction, the writing always leaving us wondering what he will do next in his scheming. the Ahrinda Pryce parts start slowly but as the two stories begin to intertwine a great novel is forged. highly recommend watching star wars rebels series after listening to this!

loved the story and characters. The background sound effects sometimes got a bit ridiculous, but most of the time was just background noise.

brilliant! didn't want to put down
I never read the pre-disney Thrawn but I very much enjoyed the new one, very well written and very well acted too. I have already got the next book and pre-ordered the 3rd.
