Summary
Letting go is not a process that comes naturally to us. In a world that teaches us to cling to what we love at all costs, there is an undeniable art to moving on - and it's one that we are constantly relearning. In this series of honest and poignant essays, Heidi Priebe explores the harsh reality of what it means to let go of the people and situations we love most - often before we are ready to - and how to embrace what comes next.

Warm and therapeutic
I saw the description and had to buy it. Worth it. Its like a heart to heart with a best (wise) friend at every stage of dating/relationships.

Fantastic little chapters that put things in perspective
I absolutely loved this book. It really put things in perspective, I especially liked the chapter on the wrong timing, not receiving that good morning text, and leaving a good thing behind - to look forward. Highly recommend this already revisited twice to hear some of the things again.

written for young people
The writer still holds on to her first lover in every word she writes...so its hard to believe she is letting go. Not a book for mothers/ wifes who have to let go of a husband.

Just what I needed to hear!
This book is brilliant. It's just what I needed at this time. I'm going to go back and keep listening to it until the message really gets in my head. Thank you!

This is me not letting go!
This book may help some people but I found it a little boring. The writer clearly had not let Go!

it was ok
it was ok. it wasn't great and I don't feel it helped in anyway.
it reads as someone who's still in love with their ex more so than someone who's letting them go.

Loved it!
As someone trying to get over a seven year emotionally abusive relationship with a narcissist this has really helped me. The constant returning of him to the relationship made it hard for me to let go as I loved him so much. He trained me to wait, sometimes for weeks and months. Thankfully the fog started to lift and I knew I was worth more, and the future I had in my mind was just an illusion which could never be.
I will read this whenever I am struggling.

Not for me
Was more like a love story. Did not encourage strength of letting someone go, but instead ruminated on and on about loving and missing someone.
Letting go means letting go, not constantly reminiscing about the one you're letting go of. I'm sorry but I would not recommend.

Didn't think it was possible to feel WORSE
Bought this book thinking it would be helpful and it only made me feel worse. This book is like listening to a person's diary when they were broken up with. Couldn't even get through the first 15 minutes. I will be returning it.

This has nothing to do with let go
It’s contradiction after contradiction. She’s a good writer but these chapters don’t go together or help with letting go of someone. Maybe it’s me but I don’t understand how anyone found this helpful and not more depressing about ending a relationship.

Eh
I had emotional moments. I think I was looking for more of a how to rather than hearing about what seems to be her experiences.

I regret having spent money on this. I listened to the whole thing waiting for that meaningful bit that never came. Some of it seemed on target, but I feel this is more of the author’s personal perspective and much of it wasn’t relevant to me.

In my pain
This was the second book I bought in this category. The book helped me process my pain. Some days I'm fine other days I'm a total mess, wondering if it was my fault. I appreciated the narrator, her voice was comforting and when I found my self drifting back into the abyss of sadness I turn this book on. I keep looking for his texts or waiting on his phone calls and I don't know why. But this author's point of view is helping me get stronger day by day.

Partly Poignant meets Cheesy Fairy Tale Ideology
There were some really good points made about life and becoming strong and complete in who you are in singularity. But then she would totally lose me. It may be that she is targeting a specific audience; one that seemed to be for young college girls lost and heartbroken in a fantasy love cycle. I would have enjoyed it more if she presented to a broader spectrum of women. I suggest perusing through and taking from it the bits that are useful. I was literally gagging on several chapters though.

Great book. I laughed and cried. For Anyone on this painful path this book will make you smile.
The chapters are a great reference. I skip through and listen often. Narrator is easy to engage with. Definitely recommend!
