Summary
He had a strict "no tourists" policy...
Until she broke all of his rules.
When Graham Barnett named his diner The Tourist Trap, he meant it as a joke. Now he's stuck slinging reindeer dogs to an endless parade of resort visitors who couldn't interest him less. Not even the sweet, enthusiastic tourist in the corner who blushes every time he looks her way...
Two weeks in Alaska isn't just the top item on Zoey Caldwell's bucket list. It's the whole bucket. One look at the mountain town of Moose Springs and she's smitten. But when an act of kindness brings Zoey into Graham's world, she may just find there's more to the grumpy local than meets the eye...and more to love in Moose Springs than just the Alaskan wilderness.

Lacking something
I hate to write bad reviews but I think this book is missing something important. I couldn't wait for it to be over. I was looking for something light, which it was, but I couldn't feel anything for the characters. It reads like a romance novel written by someone who has never actually had sex and has trouble imagining what comes after the kissing.

Saccharine Meet Cute in Alaska
Endearing Alaskan town and way of life with a little too much sugar. Wish the heroine had more gumption and wasn’t such a damsel in distress.

Title is the best thing about this book
This one is a stinker. The Alaskan love interest comes across like a 1960's cowboy. They go to great lengths to present the heroine as a bookish introvert and suggest that the protagonist has the depth to prefer her over the sexy socialite--so why does he constantly greet the heroine with "hey gorgeous"??? It made me hate him a little more each time. I could hardly finish the book.

Cute.
The book was cute, some parts were pretty RomCom cheesy. Oddly dialed up vocabulary at times, more sprinkled in to ‘sound smart’ vs adding to the story.

strong start
The hero was a little quick to punch everyone in the face and a little wishy washy but is was an enjoyable book.

Narrated Like Desperate Housewives
I think this could’ve been a better book had it been narrated better.
It reads like a Desperate Housewives episode with its current narration. Kinda irritating and hard to follow. Lots of characters made it even harder to follow.
Good concept. The execution could’ve been better. Kinda bummed because Zoe and Graham’s story sounded interesting.

Cute over all
Cute story but heads up to anyone who knows how spicy cartoon covered romcom books can be, the spiced used in this one was flour.

Very slow story
The story was good but very slow for an audio book. No huge climax that you would expect.
