Summary

This is how the world ends: with a single snowflake.

After a tragic accident at work, all Grady Miller wanted was an escape. He finds it months later with two of his closest friends. Together, the three of them travel south to Prism Lake for the upcoming holiday, where they plan on spending the sunny weekend drinking, grilling, and relaxing.

But when a series of monstrous blizzards cover the Eastern United States in feet of snow, knocking out communications and making the roads impossible to drive on, they realize their weekend of fun could turn into a lifetime of survival.

Because there's something out there besides the cold....

Something sinister....

Gripping adventure surrounded by horrors

No no no!!! I need the next book like now! Lol this book really keeps your attention throughout and makes you want to keep reading to find out if they will escape the horrors surrounding them. The book ends without the story finishing so now I need to find the next one to find out what happens next.

Don't Waste Your Time!

Honesty, don't waste your time on this garbage. It's a pound shop Stephen King version of Dreamcatcher.

Short but good

Took a chance on this as it's in the plus catalogue so free. Enjoyed it a lot and flew through it in a couple of listens. It's not James Joyce, but it's a good old fashioned horror-type story with decent characters and a plot that flies by. It does end fairly abruptly as noted by others, but it is part of a series so it's really a teaser to see if you want more.

Nothing special

Performance is solid, but the story is predictable and no depth is given to characters.

A fairly entertaining story

Some good characters and backstop, quite claustrophobic feeling and you can feel the struggle to be free from the horror lurking in the forest.

None the wiser

Why oh why did I stick with this. Yes, quite like the characters, yes understood the end of the world, but lost track at the THINGS in the snow.
