Another masterfull blend of tension and suspense from Piperbrook. This series kept me on the edge of my seat. Loved all the twists and turns. A definate must read!

A good book. As others have said, T. W. P is not an amazing writer, but more than makes up with it thanks to good characters and setting. The werewolves are dangerous and frightening and despite the first 3 books taking place over a period of roughly 6 hours. It doesn't feel bloated. The performance is very good also.

Its an entertaining enough story if you suspend your disbelief for long enough to get into it. The performer also does a reasonable job, however my main isssue with him is his mispronunciation of some words. Hearing the w in sword for example, came as a shock. If your profession is being an narrator then you ought to know better, this is also true for the publishing team, someone should have picked this sort of thing up before releasing it.

I really enjoyed the story. I've listened to most of Piperbrook's novels on audible and this was a nice change from the usual zombie survival stories.
I was a bit irritated by the careless post production editing by audible though.... many pauses in text restarted with a missing first letter or word, which was more noticeable in the last couple of books.

Overall this was a good set to listen to. It kept me going and pulling me through to the end. The main downside was Tom should never had a gun as he can not hit the ground if he aimed at it. I groaned every time he lined up an important shot as you know what will happen. Ignoring this the books were very good.
